Lets tweak the roster and make it five years in a row with NO playoffs. Start with MO and start the process.
Glad I missed the debacle last night. I am telling you….total overhaul or years coming of bad baseball.
I met Matt and his great Dad while they played in HS baseball here in Houston. Always was a huge fan but as we sit here 8/5 he is just a part of a group of players in a lineup that cannot hit. I will say it again a total overhaul is needed starting with MO and then the real work starts with a makeover of a team that has not see the playoffs in at seasons end four years. That is not acceptable in St. Louis. This organization is real close to apathy that leads to years of bad baseball. The great fans of this team deserves better.
4 freaking hits. Mo adds no bat and get used to it as it will be seen the rest of the year. Sickening.
Great night for the Cards and Paul. 14 runs is amazing. Now don’t go out today and get held to 4 hits like they have done so much this year. Finish this team off.
Here is the legit info on the Cowboys ATT Stadium:
-City pays $325 mill, while Jerry pays the rest (well-known). Depending on the amount raised, Jerry might have been responsible for another $35 mill (ended up not being necessary).
-Jerry pays $2m/year to rent the stadium with a lease of 30 years, and the Cowboys are required to play their home games in the stadium over this period.
-If naming rights are sold, Jerry has to pay 5% of that per year (capped at $500k) to the city
-At the end of 30 years, there are extensions available up to a total lease of 70 years (with a much lower annual rent)
-After the lease ends, the Cowboys have the option to purchase the complex from the city for $100m, and they get credit for paid rent and operating costs (!) — if “credit” means “full credit” I think this means they would probably only have to fork over around $20-30m for the whole complex after 30 years…
-Jerry pays for all operating costs and receives all revenue. I assume this covers all events in the stadium, not just Boys game, but not sure
-Jerry has to pay $500k/year for 33 years for youth sports charity
City of Arlington already paid all costs off as the stadium has been a cash cow to all.Look at the box score……. O frs everywhere. Lord what is going on with Goldy? He left his career in Arizona. Team is unwatchable.
Really enjoyed the game last night. TO has to stay in the lineup no matter to see if he can be a regular. Bader taking that perfect called third strike just sickens me. What was he thinking? Hard to believe Carpenter and the way he looks at the plate. Completely gone as a hitter. Sit him for an extended period of time.
Miles was great and how refreshing to see a pitcher get to go nine instead of the lunacy of the six inning pitcher today all over the league.Love the guy. Always one of my all time favorites. Ruined my Sunday when I saw the announcement but pray the good Lord will help here.
PugsleyAddams…..thanks for my thoughts exactly. Never thought I would watch a Cards team that as a whole just cannot hit for an entire year as they are on their way to doing. This team sadly will not finish .500. They are that bad.
What a depressing first half. Now get ready for a repeat as the front office is a trainwreck. The great fans of St.Louis deserve much better.
My only comment about this trainwreck of an organization is I did’t watch the game. Sad times for all us Cards fans.
Broken record Cards fan and I am a lifer…total overhaul needed starting with Mo. STALE organization that is going down the tracks for four straight with no playoffs. That is horrid to me.
Glad I chose watch the college series final instead of this trainwreck of a Cardinal team.
