Actually this kid May is supposed to be highly thought of. I think the Pirates wanted him in the proposed trade for Vasquez and the Dodgers said no.

Brian, the other day you commented that Shildt is loyal to his veterans. I’m still trying to figure out how a legitimate outfielder like Lane Thomas continues to get passed over for Tommy Edman (who I like) and Yairo Munoz.

Thomas was actually hitting pretty well before he was called up and now he sits the bench unless they need a token base runner.

I was amazed by the YouTube feature with Bellinger hitting fruit with his bat. This YouTube production is beyond odd.

I watched about an inning so far, but I’ll be driving for an hour or better so I won’t get to see much more.

Flaherty and May have about the same line through 4, each with one walk and 6 Ks. Jack has allowed only one hit while Dustin has allowed three. Looking like another no run support game for Flaherty.
