The kid can simply pitch!I actually think they will bring up Woodford and maybe Thompson. OM needs to make some sort of move and get some fresh pitching in. It is relevant as he was chosen over probably 20-30 other pitchers. Or is it your saying the people who nominated Jake to start the aaa all star game, don’t really know what talent looks like?
It’s ok to call it like it is: the Cards have unjustly kept him in aaa, even with better marks than others. We shouldn’t down play that the FO has failed yet again.Woodford has done very well in aaa. no reason he should be there. and someone please tell me why the heck is McFarland still on the MLB roster? I guess because if they demote him, then the FO will look silly; but that does not matter, as they already do.

Cards have really done him wrong this year… Hard to be a fan anymore. FO and Oli simply making bad one bad decision after another. Time for MO to go. Ownership needs to wake up and see what is going on. Not just this to Woody, but the number of just awful trades and silly contracts are making this team worse.Why not give Woodford a shot…? If they aren’t going to use him, they may as well trade/release him, so he can go help another team win.

Big joke Marmol.For sure. Get him up. I watched his last game in Memphis as well. You are correct, the umpire missed several calls in the first two innings. Innings 3+4 he did great, breaking stuff was there. I think the third inning he did in either 4 or 5 pitches.!
The way the FO has handled Yadi is embarrassing to the team. Sure he has a great history, but that should not excuse him from being here with the team rehabbing and helping the young players with advice. Maybe its best just to move on from this point and let him retire to the Hall of Fame.
Libby will be a good 5 spot rotation guy. He just hasn’t lived up to all the hype. Sure he is young, but not that young. He certainly needs more time in AAA to refine his pitches.

Woodford should certainly be up either as a starter or in the pen. His stats speak for themselves.
