It would be great to see him (and anyone) improve, but there is no particular urgency. As discussed in the Woodford thread, the addition of two proven MLB starters at the deadline gives Liberatore (and other young starters) more development time. He isn’t needed in St. Louis right now.

Nice work by Libby. The hope is that he’s been working on some pitches that he’ll be able to command soon enough and that he’ll be challenging for a rotation spot next spring.
Also, Mondays are the worst. The MLB team is off…the minors are mostly off…what gives?
The new schedules driven by MLB have all teams other than rookie ball off Mondays. With the new six-game series, it gives teams a travel day to get situated before playing six days in a row. It seems to be a fairly popular move with those in uniform.
