Why the heck is Rom and Barnes pitching in MLB..? No way they should be.. the FO has lost it. Go Astros!
Anyone know whats going on with Woody? His last 2 inng, outing in Memphis he looked sharp! Now I hear he may be doing another rehab in Springfield..? If he goes more inngs., then I guess he may be ramping up to get some starts or be the long reliever. He is way better than what we have been using..

Had a bad start to the season, Luke almost everyone else, but was pitching much better including the London series.Woodford looked really good tonight.

Get him back up.!!!You said it Bling..! If you are not MLB ready, you should not be in MLB.. send Libby back to aaa and let him work on his stuff.. He obviously has things to figure out, before we start pitching him in games that actually count..losing, crappy season or not; Lets not get into bad habits of pitching guys in MLB in hopes they get better.
I would actually like to see Woody again with some starts or being the long relief guy… his last outings before the IL had been very good..(London). vs a resurgent Cubs team, not the team with the worst record in MLB.It is not fair to the rest of the team and the fans, all who want to win…much more than worried about Waino getting to 200.! Waino has been dogpoo all year. with these stats he should be sitting in the press box calling the games. I love Waino, but his time has passed and if he really wants to help this team he should consider a assistant coaching job!

This is a lot of hits and runs!The cards reporters are really lying to the team and fans. When it is reported that Liberatore took a big step towards being in the rotation after a terrible outing like this. He was very lucky to have only given up 5 runs, as he left the bases loaded for the pen to clean up.
You can give up 5 runs in under 6 inngs and be an option for the rotation.
He still has control issues and needs to work on it more in aaa!Many guys are getting injured this year and I think some of it is the usage by Ollie… or its just one of those years, where everything that can go wrong is…
Once they get a few pen guys back it will certainly help.. Hels, Woody will help.Woodford looked really sharp in both days vs. the cubbies.!

Libby, needs to sharpen things up in AAA, it should not be done in MLB.
Wain, being of veteran status is pretty much untouchable; although if he looks and pitches more of
what he has been doing lately, I would stick him in the pen. Give the starts back to Woody or Matz.Looks like a bunch of rain in the Washington area…? anyone there for a weather report..
Is a rainout possible..?Cards need a mgr change. maybe give Stubby a shot at it or go get an experienced mgr like Joe Madden. The FO is going to have to change and allow the mgr to call the shots; obviously the way things are now are nowt working at all.
Maybe send Mo down to AAA…LOL.Marmol has to go now… or else the season may be lost and that would be a shame as this team has a lot of talent. A mgr change would at least give everyone something else to talk about besides losing… and maybe just maybe, they start winning again.!
