I feel like the only person on earth who thinks good things are gonna happen when Cabrera comes in is Marmol! Everyone else from coast to coast knows what is about to happen!
There goes the series. I’ll go ahead and put this one on Marmol…you simply have to understand that Hicks is a one inning guy at this point.

I think Marmol is the worst we have had since at least 1995 in dealing with bullpen changes! He makes mistakes weekly if not daily!
The Cards are making it respectable, but it stings to know that better bullpen management could easily have resulted in the W.

Well, the tying or winning run was in play for Gorman, Goldy and Arenado. Not much more you could hope for. They didn’t come through. Tough series but hopefully they bounce back for Milwaukee.
I’ve seen Cabrerra get touched up a time or two, but I can’t recall seeing him take a beating like he endured today. Man alive…4 ER’s on 4 hits of which 2 were HR’s without recording a solitary out. Ferdie “The Fight Doctor” Pacheco couldn’t have helped him today.
