The Rangers extend their sincere thanks to the dumpster fire, aka, the Cardinals front office, for handing them Montgomery for pocket change.
September 1, 2023 at 10:38 pm in reply to: 2023 StL Game #135: Friday, September 1 vs. Pirates #232951wagee12ParticipantDuring the month of Sept. Cards fans at the stadium need to disguise themselves as empty seats.
wagee12ParticipantHow many games has Gomber won in a row now. He struggled at the start of the season but is back to .500.
wagee12ParticipantBest news of the day. So long Paulie D.
July 23, 2023 at 10:52 pm in reply to: Trade Ideas/Acquisition Ideas/Non-Cards Rumors – 2021-2023 #228951wagee12ParticipantLOL at suggesting that any time might be willing to give up some significant talent for DeJug.
wagee12ParticipantGo Birds. Get within five games of the lead in the division by Aug. 20 and let’s see what happens from there. Need a solid starter at the trade deadline. Any guys available. What about Schezer?
wagee12ParticipantIt is sad that Wainwright did not go out in an extended and celebrated farewell with Yadi and Albert last year. He has been a great Cardinal. The trio retiring together would have been very special.
June 25, 2023 at 11:06 am in reply to: 2023 StL Game #77: Sunday, June 25 vs. Cubs in London #225506wagee12ParticipantDoes anyone else here ever get tired of watching DeJug strikeout and walk off with that same dumb, blank look on his face?
wagee12ParticipantWacha is 7-2 with an ERA under 3.
wagee12ParticipantOh, I agree with you 100%.
wagee12ParticipantStubby Clapp for manager!
wagee12ParticipantDeJug struck out with the bases jammed. How surprising.
wagee12ParticipantLOL, typical DeJug, strikes out with the bases loaded. Please management, unload this guy.
wagee12ParticipantTime to call up some arms from the first place Memphis Red Birds!
December 2, 2022 at 10:02 am in reply to: Trade Ideas/Acquisition Ideas/Non-Cards Rumors – 2021-2023 #207884wagee12ParticipantThere are no experts. Most of them are offering click bait, throwing scenarios against the wall and hoping that something sticks.
wagee12ParticipantThe Phillies are a perfect example of why the regular season is just a preliminary and doesn’t mean that much as long as you squeeze into the playoffs. Get hot in October, have two strong starters, a couple of reliable relievers and have one or two bats get hot and, well, we see now what can happen.
Hey Mo, when can we expect that you will acquire a stopper for the front of the rotation?wagee12ParticipantDeJug has gotta go. Wainwright should not come back. They should have traded one of the other young outfielders and kept you know who. BTW, checked the box scores. Goldy and Arenado in the two games vs. the Phillies, 1 for 15, 6 strikeouts, 12 runners left on base.
October 7, 2022 at 5:21 pm in reply to: 2022 Wild Card Series Game 1 thread – Friday, October 7 vs. Phillies #203733wagee12ParticipantI thought the Cards needed more runs the entire second half of the game. The Pujols double play ball with no body out hurt, big time. Almost time to start talking about off season acquisitions.
October 3, 2022 at 5:37 pm in reply to: 2022 Cardinals MLB Game 160 thread – Monday, October 3 at Bucs #203148wagee12ParticipantNo way should DeJug be on the post season roster. Need another bat, not a dead out, striking out most of the time.
BTW assuming the Phillies will be the opponent is a stretch right now. They are in Houston to finish the season.wagee12ParticipantWaino has had a great career. Perhaps it might be time for him to ride off with Yadi and Albert when the season ends. Hanging on for one more year just doesn’t make alot of sense.
September 25, 2022 at 5:37 pm in reply to: 2022 Cardinals MLB Game 154 thread – Sunday, Sept. 25 at Dodgers #202368wagee12ParticipantWill Goldschmidt still be hitting .300 at the end of the season? His average has dropped 15 points in the last three weeks and OPS is also tumbling away.
September 23, 2022 at 4:23 pm in reply to: 2022 Cardinals MLB Game 152 thread – Friday, Sept. 23 at Dodgers #202059wagee12ParticipantEuro, do you still have to pay if you have the Apple app on the Samsung. I have it showing, never tried to use it.
September 22, 2022 at 9:18 am in reply to: 2022 Cardinals MLB Game 151 thread – Thursday, Sept. 22 at Padres #201873wagee12ParticipantTotally agree with the above post concerning DeJug. He heeds to go sooner rather than later. On another note, over the last two games, Harrison Bader is 3 for 8 with five rbi for Yankees. That’s more hits and rbi than the entire Cardinals outfield. His batting average is .260 or higher than all the outfielders except for maybe Dickerson.
September 14, 2022 at 3:33 pm in reply to: 2022 Cardinals MLB Game 143 thread – Wednesday, Sept. 14 vs. Brewers #200512wagee12ParticipantGameCard, that negative crap does get old. Tongue in cheek or not, it is silly and boring.
September 8, 2022 at 10:29 am in reply to: 2022 Cardinals MLB Game 138 thread – Thursday, Sept. 8 vs Nats #199703wagee12ParticipantHaving DeJug declare free agency would truly be a blessing. BTW and off topic, have you guys seen Bader. He got a serious haircut!!
