KeepComingBackParticipantJNevel-i was opposed to pitching to WC, but your point is legitimate. Center cut fastball. Got hit hard.
KeepComingBackParticipantRight now you effectively have 4 pitchers hitting in a league that uses the dh. That’s bad.
Walker
Gorman
Goldschmidt
ScottAll automatic outs.
What to do? You can’t sit them all. For the time being Herrera and Burleson have to be in the lineup. Scott should go back to aaa.
Shuffle the other 3 in and out until they start hitting some. At this point something needs to be tried.

KeepComingBackParticipantI would go this way pretty much day in and day out for awhile:
Donovan
Winn
Nootbaar
Arenado
Contreras
Goldschmidt
Herrera
Walker/Burleson/Gorman
Scott/SianiBikeMikes lineup

KeepComingBackParticipantDo they need an analytics department to tell them not to pitch to a teams best hitter with 2 outs a base open and the game tied in xtras’? Seriously, I can tolerate the streaks and other blips in performance by the players. It’s part of the game. But this is sheer stupidity. I’m truly dejected with what this has turned into. Never mind the malpractice in setting the lineup. BikeMike has the lineup right. They should hire him.

KeepComingBackParticipantCan anyone please explain to me why you would pitch to William C in that situation last night. Thank you in advance.

KeepComingBackParticipantGorman is by far one of our highest ceiling players. And I agree with leaving him parked at second base. Still, there’s nothing more frustrating than watching a player strikeout at such a high rate. I would be thrilled if he could keep it around 30%. And I think it’s less impactful with him lower in the lineup. 6th is a pretty sweet spot for him. E

KeepComingBackParticipantI cant imagine a bill to improve the stadium at taxpayers expense would be approved. Is this organization really that numb to the current public opinion of them at this time? Whether that opinion is correct or not.

KeepComingBackParticipantContreras should have scored?

KeepComingBackParticipantHerrera gotta be in lineup. Right handed Noot at the playe.
KeepComingBackParticipantI’m off tomorrow so I get to watch at least part of the game. I’m kayaking early with a buddy so not too late.
KeepComingBackParticipantDinner-Large tortilla wrap full of crunchy peanut butter and strawberry Jam. Thin lays BBQ potatoes chips. Arnold Palmer half and half. A pint of Ben and Jerry’s Half Baked for gametime. I take the lid off and throw it away.
KeepComingBackParticipantO’Neil isn’t in the lineup tonight. . Collision yesterday in the field. 8 stitches in the head. Here we go
KeepComingBackParticipantRick Monday was one of my favorite players in those days. My first baseball games were at Municipal Stadium in KC.
KeepComingBackParticipantPugs-Pro TIP. Get your pan hot and throw in a bunch of butter. Put a couple halves of these white side down, couple slices sharp cheddar, couple halves white side up. Smash and flip brown the other side. Perfect grill cheese with no crust.
KeepComingBackParticipantAbsolutely Winn second.
KeepComingBackParticipantYep RBK when I started looking things up before I opened my mouth it was life changing. Google is the greatest invention since the microwave. We can still have our opinions, it’s just easier to make a case when you aren’t dead wrong.
KeepComingBackParticipantBikeMike I got ⅕Arenado moved down with Goldy and Herrera worked in while Walker can ride the pine. I’m not ready for Noot in cf. Scott gotta play a while longer.
I’m 67 and get up at 430 for a 9 hour shift I’m paid well for. Going in on 5 hrs sleep is tough. Not gonna sacrifice for this match up.
KeepComingBackParticipantYeah it’s definitely past time to at least shuffle the line up.

Here is a comprehensive list of the Cardinals hitting stats. Our pitching wasn’t great, but it was good enough to win all 3 games in Phoenix. We scored 5 runs on bombs Friday but the rest of the weekend was pathetic. This group is big on stats, so why wouldn’t you change the lineup based on the offensive failures in the first 16 games.
Donovan
Winn
Noot
Contreras
Herrera
Gorman
Goldy
Arenado
ScottGotta find a way to play Herrera as long as Scott is a zero and Goldy and Arenado aren’t far behind. Walker earns a spot on the bench until the vets wake up. I know this won’t happen, but it should.

KeepComingBackParticipantI don’t think I’m going to lose sleep watching them on the wc against the A’s next week. You guys tell me what happens.

KeepComingBackParticipantI’m really sick of underperforming veterans that you can’t move down in the order for fear you will hurt their feelings and they will pout.

KeepComingBackParticipantYea it wasn’t Fred I was wanting to see.
KeepComingBackParticipantI forget things that happened 10 minutes ago. I’m usually good with 10 or 15 years. I clearly remember it.
KeepComingBackParticipant. At any rate, you kind of knew he was jinxed in the OF when they had to stop a game in order to remove a moth that had lodged in his ear…Haha!
This reminds me of something I’m sure happened. Do you remember the camera catching Daniel Descalso wiping a buggar on Pete Kozma? I can’t find anything about it on Google
