A strong first half should be next on Noots checklist. His splits by season “halves” is different. You may enjoy seeing.
I think Noot will start getting on track. He has been taking great ABs and making really good contact. His expected numbers are around what Contreras’s are.
1/3 of our payroll goes to 2 guys we are paying to supply middle of the order power who are not providing much of anything. Our cf provides less offense than a pitcher. Kudos to our pitching or we would be out of contention already.
His obp will carry him right? Really nice plate discipline, w/pop to all fields, and at 1000+ PA’s now.
Second best to Willson is quite ok.

Polanco, Jon Jay, Siani; they have a different way of helping a club win.
It’s a shame Siani can’t go oppo for his BA, like Donovan does.
It was a good outing by LL. A bit short maybe, but kept us in it. I just don’t like it when he goes out right after being given a lead and gives it up.
