What ATM said. I expect him to K a lot and have a low ba. But if he drops bombs and plays defense, he stays.
I hate Wrigley as well. And their obnoxious fans deserve the toilet they play in. It even smells like a toilet.
I think Winn just needs to mature some. He has the defensive ability to be a hof ss but it won’t carry him there alone. He has to buckle down and do all the little things like Ozzie did to improve that part of his game. Otherwise, he’s just another guy with a nice carreer.

Could it be because teams encourage and actually pay more for extra base hits than singles which are easier to get hence higher ba?
I’m extremely biased when it comes to him because I love watching his defense so much. But he’s going to get pushed by some good prospects that are in the system if that continues trending down.
I root for each and every young man who wears Cardinal Red except for the rare guy like the one who just got booted from Pittsburgh. But that doesn’t make them all major league players. ATM has it figured. Blaze is starting because there isn’t anyone else. Reminds me of the year Floyd Rayford played third for us for part of a season.
