Carson Kelly has an 850 ops. Maybe we can trade for him

I mean it all makes sense that we were hacking the astros. No one left in at Louis has a clue what they’re doing

It’ll be a miracle if they win another game this week

What is Kolten Wong’s OPS the last 5-6 weeks? 450-500?

Pretty difficuly to bring that 1100 OPS he carried after 3-4 weeks back to 700 as fast as he did

I’ll talk to y’all in 3 weeks. Need to focus on some stuff and don’t mind skipping some games for that at this point. Maybe a good thing for me personally but still hate the trajectory. See y’all in a few weeks

Yeah I don’t blame hicks. I blame a team that didn’t pitch find an inning for him for 3 weeks and thinks he should be ready to go two nights in a row. Schildt extension happened way too fast. Dude is incompetent. Don’t care if miller pulls a miracle or not

Schildt may not even the problem. Maybe the front office just micromanaged these managers

    Let’s close this out

You’d hope that rally can spark more than just a win tonight. But I’ll take a win tonight if we can hold on

Dallas Keuchel. It either helps save this or makes us know we need a rebuild. I was against it until now but at least make the move and prove to yourselves that there is a structural problem. If you’re gonna go for it you make that move after the draft of the price is right

P.S. I might be losing my mind in this downward spiral

This team looks hopeless. I hope in two months I’m completely wrong

    And Jager I agree

Especially doesn’t help when your front office can’t identify talent

Read something on VEB detailing who we’ve traded and what we’ve gotten since 2015 and it’s pathetic

Couple that with the free agent deals and it’s a mess

    And dansby says it’s bedtime

Living most of my youth in Atlanta I was a cards fan by birth. Tough to see the braves this good

I was really excited to sit down and watch a game for the first time in several weeks. Just more of what I’ve been missing so far

Another thing that has become so concerning is lack of top 100 prospects. It might be time to rebuild or at least sell to reload. Just don’t know if we have anything that could fetch that type of prospect

They’re trying to give us one but we’ll do everything we can do give it back

That can’t happen with no outs

This team appears to be far more than one trade away from competing for the division

I’m very busy and can’t watch a lot for the next month. I guess there isn’t much reason to anyway

Really don’t remember the last time I’ve been so apathetic. If I feel this way this point, this must be how you lose a fanbase

Didn’t even need to watch to know that would happen. Really need to start betting against us after an offensive explosion

I won’t find much solace in minor leaguers. It’s nice and everything to look to the future but a lot of the guys that could be real good are sooooo far away. This team is hitting a rough patch and they need to right the ways

I think we should send Hudson to the minors immediately though

I don’t see why ponce isn’t given an extended look. He’s done nothing but pitch well at the big league level (even though I doubt his ability to go deep into games). Wainwright is giving us more than I thought he would. He shouldn’t bear any of the criticism because he was brought back at a low salary to be our 5 starter and I’d take what he’s given for a 5 any day. I think this staff could benefit from ponce coming up and a trade for a reliable starter and somehow eliminating wacha from the equation. I think wacha’s officially been hit by too many injuries. He has the same control I would have if I went and chucked it (he throws a little faster though)

Sorry for the rant in the game thread but those are my thoughts

I won’t get down about a week of inconsistency from the offense but would like to see an order shakeup. Fowler to 2 and push everyone back. I don’t like goldschmidt at 2 no matter what anyone says

I hope I’m wrong but i think it’s another above average team and not much more. It seems like this team wasn’t just one player away the last two years

Haven’t been watching but seeing the box score after 4 I was baffled that we had no runs with 6 and 3 errors for pitt
