Thanks for everyone who did the research and replied. Much appreciated TCN crew.
BW, can the Cardinals get another Top 10 pick for 2026? My understanding of the Draft is they can’t get lottery picks in consecutive years, so Top 6 picks. They only got 7th in 2024 and got 5th in 2025, so would they still be eligible for 2026?
I think its time to have the talk with NA that his starting time is going to be diminished, thereby his playing time is going bye bye.
Gotta leave it to Mo to hold on players past their peak value and then only get scraps for them. He’s perfect at doing just the bare minimum.
It appears Mejia signed his contract on June 2.
New signing announced on Twitter by Francys Romero:
Cuban right-hander pitcher Briam Reyes Cedeño (17) has officially signed with the St. Louis Cardinals.
Bonus deal: $130,000.
An explosive pitcher with strike zone command/stuff that includes a slider, changeup, and fastball (90–92 MPH).

Really glad to see Honeyman promoted right about when I expected him to be. A college hitter at his age and his R5 timeline really needs to spend most of this year in A+.
I would argue he needs to see a promotion to Springfield before the end of the season.
Cardinals will need their entire 1st round pool money to sign Willits.
This is the largest pool money the Cardinals have ever had for the draft and I hope like hell they deliver this year.
The Rockies are a terribly ran organization. Bud Black got a raw deal.
Cardinals have already burned 3 options this year on Roddery Munoz. Svanson, O’Riley and Saggesse have been optioned twice.
If anyone is interested, here’s the pitching chart for 2025. I was out of the country for 3 weeks and neglected to update. Spent the past few days getting it updated

Peoria announced their opening day roster today and based on all the transactions on the transaction page it appears Palm Beach has finalized their opening day and will announce it sometime tomorrow.
Springfield released their roster today

Church, Hjerpe, ad Raquet all begin the season on the IL
Tink Hence injured again?
Wash and Rinse.
Cardinals released the following minor league players:
1B Ross Friedrick (PB)
OF Kade Kretzschmar (PEO)
1B William Sullivan (FCL)
SS Adari Grant (FCL)
OF Chris Rotondo (SPR)Anyone know why Curtis Taylor was placed on restricted list?
With all the QO guys signing contracts, the Cardinals will have the 5th, 55th, 73rd and 89th picks in the first 100 picks. That’s pretty huge.
As soon as Arenado vetoed the trade to Houston I knew he wasn’t going to get traded. No dropped the ball but Nado played a role in this wreck
I am very surprised Donovan lost his case while Noot won his considering Noot has struggled to stay healthy and Donovan has shown he can play multiple positions.

BlackHills, what was your source?
