Cardinals have said they will announce all TV channels Thursday at 8am
In a lost season I’m giving Bloom a long leash. I honestly am not surprised this happened considering they still have to make room for JJ. If they added Nelson they’d have to make room for 2 guys.
Several Cardinals shrunk from last year to this year lol
Cardinals placed several minor league players on the 60-Day Injured List:
Frank Elissalt
Joseph King
Brandon Clarke
Andrew Dutkanych IV
Sem Robberse
Victor Santos
Zack Thompson
Jefferson Moran
Reiner LopezAny idea when the full MiLB camp reports?
As much as we get disgruntled with DeWitt, Hoffman would be worse. Hard pass.
Cards are trading for Nationals Geirge Soriano. The Cards are trading away Granillo. Soriano has good minor league numbers, but with not much MLb success yet.
This is the first trade that I don’t understand what the Cardinals are doing.
Just don’t draft anymore Delvin Perez’s and Pete Kozma’s
January 31, 2026 at 11:02 am in reply to: Right-handed hitting outfielder acquisitition thread #300064They aren’t going to sign an MLB caliber right hitting outfielder. No one is going to come here on the bases of playing for a rebuilding team and only starting 2-3 times a week.
I want the Cardinals to get the highest return possible.
Found a Youtube video on Knowles: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/xOMbvUE-6vo
His stats are eye popping and not in a good way…
The luxury tax needs to be steeper and contracts should not be deferred. There also should be a salary floor. The players union will never agree to a salary cap.
Teams cannot carryover funds from one season to the next. It’s a use it or lose it system.
Well the Cardinals still haven’t announced their 2026 signings yet but BA has a list of several names that have signed as well as their bonus amounts.
Emanuel Luna, OF, Dominican Republic ($2.3 million)
Carlos Carrion, SS, Dominican Republic ($1.1 million)
Rafeli Moronta, RHP, Dominican Republic ($450,000)
Sebastian Rojas, C, Venezuela ($450,000)
Jhon Fraganten, OF, Dominican Republic ($350,000)
Christopher Vargas, OF, Dominican Republic ($300,000)
Emilio Jimenez, LHP, Dominican RepublicI’m still bitter on how he and Goldy quit on the team for the Toronto series. That selfishness will never escape me.
BW don’t forget the god awful Greg Holland signing in 2018 that costs them their 2nd round pick.
What about a .666 OPS screams All-Star type player?
I’m gonna miss Contreras. He was a perfect fit and did everything they asked. Even after the pitchers tried throwing him under the bus and Ollie and Mo wanted to move him to OF, he stayed positive.
Thanks Brian. I overlooked that news
Why was Baez not considered eligible for the 2025 Draft? He signed in 2021 and would have played 5 years. He should have been eligible for the draft this year, yes?
When I heard the Yankees drafted Rincon I was like damn they got another guy from us but then I saw how the first name was spelled. The fact there is a Hancel Rincon and Hansel Rincon is bonkers.
CardsFanInChiTown, the Cards 32 pick will most likely end up being the 33 pick because Zac Gallen will most definitely sign for more than $50M. That pick cannot drop lower than 33 though because there aren’t any other players who would demand comp picks after the 1st round. So, we’re probably looking at the Cards getting the 13, 33, 51, and 89 picks.
Cards should still get 4 picks in the first 90 picks. Dropping to 13th absolutely sucks, though. Damn that’s kind of heartbreaking.
MILB transactions shows the Cards signed OF Saul Figuereo on Nov 1
