I am fine with Fermin getting the start, but surprised Gorman is sitting vs the lefty.
I can only hope he is packing his bag for Memphis.
Goldy 0 for 23 Gorman 0 for 14 Carlson 0 for 11. Gorman needs to go to Memphis and figure it out. The sooner he goes down the better. Carlson I don’t know what else to do with him. Goldy I would check his overall physical health and his eyesight. AT this point trying anything with Goldy there has to be a reason he has been beyond bad and that can’t be just age related it must something else.

Well with all the time the Cards have spent decorating the NL central basement I think the Pirates need to try a little harder to kick us out.
Arenado and Goldy went to management to ask for a player who was a good leader because that wasn’t something they were good at. I think they actually ask for Carp to be brought back. How about putting your big boy pants and start leading by example? The excuse that they young guys took over the clubhouse last year in just that an excuse. What is the problem this year, nobody wants to play ping pong?
Well I never said his career was over. I did say he was showing signs of age related decline. I did comment on his bad spring. I also have been a huge proponent of letting him go after this season.
I don’t have an apocalyptic (btw great use of the word) panic regarding Goldy. I just don’t want him back after this year. Personal preference.

Too bad for Goldy Arizona made it to the WS before he could with the Cardinals. Maybe he still get a chance to not only get to the WS but win it. I don’t like his chances with the Cardinals. But anything is possible.
Just an impression nothing to back it up. I think Goldy was expecting an extension before the season started. He has had a horrible spring but I think once it gets warmer so will he. gscottar predictions look about right.
