Just an impression nothing to back it up. I think Goldy was expecting an extension before the season started. He has had a horrible spring but I think once it gets warmer so will he. gscottar predictions look about right.
He has been very good this spring so he seems focused. How that translate into the regular season, who knows. But for spring training he has been great.
I don’t want declining and no leadership Goldy. Let him ride into the sunset. Not that spring results are that important but he has been horrible. To me his spring results may be an indication that we are in for a slow start from him. I know people here love him but I rather let him go too early than hold on to him for too long.
They reward mediocrity. No head explosion for me. I don’t have a head, it exploded when they signed Lynn.
It may be hard to connect for the younger generations too. How about a ping pong game for them and the loser has to play cards with Mikolas?
They might no be vocal but that’s not an excuse to see a clubhouse “overran” by young players and sit idly and not address it somehow. He saw what was happening and did nothing. Furthermore he told everyone now what he saw and chose to ignore because he is not “vocal”. sorry unacceptable. I can’t believe he said such an asinine thing. Just shut up dude.
