June 15, 2026 at 2:27 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #70 thread – Monday, June 15 vs. San Diego Padres #309965hopefully the offense doesn’t lay an egg. Bullpen has let the offense down in 2 of 3 games
Well, Abe, with addition of Noot and a couple of good looking rooks and the subtraction of the king of wishful swinging we gotta be better!

May 21, 2026 at 1:35 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #49 thread – Thursday, May 21 vs. Pittsburgh Pirates #307917I find our inconsistant hitting worrying, along with basepath gaffs and and frequent defensive lapses. I don’t know about the Cubs, but the Brewers are a little better than us…for now?

OMG Pevely milk! That really takes me back. Our milk man would put a quart by our door every day (and it was never stolen)
May 17, 2026 at 11:02 am in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #46 thread – Sunday, May 17 vs. Kansas City Royals #307667In 2012 or ’13 I got the idea in my head that if we can get 10 games over .500 in May we would win the division. We may not do it today, but it sure looks like it will happen 😉

I walk to the market every day and pick up plastic bottles for excersize. You can’5 believe the amount of those damn things discarded!I guess the plastics lobby is stronger than the glass. Too bad the bottle deposit makes too much sense for the present

This man was the reason for the Yankee dynasty. While all teams were hit hard by the depression, Connie Mack had to sell off his best players and N.Y. had the most money to spend.Other teams weathered the lean times but this damn fool shot himself in the foot by trying to sue the city because people
where watching the games from their rooftops for free on 10th st.He lost the suit (duh) so he had a 50 foot wall built around Shibe park, totally pissing off the fans and the Enquirer’s writers dubbing it a SPITE FENCE, further galavizing the fans

We have the identical mornings here in Las Cruces, NM. But by 3PM it is 15 degree’s cooler. BTW Las Cruces was where John Waters’ classic, epic western, LUST IN THE DUST was shot 🙂
