Was reading a article on VEB(Sabernerd Cards site) and some guy was giving his thoughts Opinions) on who could be traded from the Memphis roster this season. His top choices Tyler ONeill and Mercado. Why would anybody trade a 22 year kid with plus power who plays pretty defense and has a pretty good arm?I know its a Sabersite and they value OBP more than power but in a system nearly without power bats why trade a young kid who has shown improvement and is going into his 2nd AAA season at age 22? Yet tyhey slobber over a 25 year old who has not even played a full season of AAA because he plays good defense with a good arm?I like both prospects ONeill and J.A. Garcia because each bring something to the team that the Cards need.ONeills power and Garcia`s defense. The reasoning behind this kind of thinking just astounds me.Sorry about little rant but its still baseball in spite of people trying to number everything.

I for one hope he gets traded sooner than later.Enough of his garbage.Cards will survive without Tommy Pham.

It is still stupid to have 8 men in the bullpen IMO.How many times will the 8th guy really matter? What happens when MM looks down the bench for a crucial Pinch-hitter and all he has is Pena(who will rarely see the field) and there is no one left but Wainwright. This beyond dumb.

He is going to strike out a lot.Just so he keeps improving his walk rate and keeps producing runs .Thyis is still just his 2nd year in the Majors and i think the 4 K night was a aberration.I also realize some “fans” are going to dissect and criticize his every move no matter what he does because they are unhappy about him signing a extension while PhamFBOMB “everybody is picking on me” did not get a big contract.

Its like the old Lefthand pitcher jinx that used to nail the Cards all the time except there are only 2 lefty batters in the lineup.Strange indeed.Cards made Robbie Ray look like Steve Carlton.

MVP numbers bullcrap.Pham had a nice partial season.Flash in the pan IMHO.When and/if he puts up some good productive years in the big leagues then he will have something to stand on instead of acting like a whinyass punk.

I would think that the reactions from management will be different privately than the public response.Same with the other players.Throwing teammates under the bus just isnt something that makes for a happy productive team.Management has to be angry because they might feel that they stuck with this guy for many years thru bad seasons, injuries etc; and now he is like the drunk uncle at the family picnic who cant help himself stop being a ass***e.This also makes Pham look like a “me’ guy first .Like others have said i just dont see this ending up well for Pham.Since he doesnt know how or when to filter his comments i wonder when the next verbal blast pops up.Keep it up Pham because i am one fan who hopes you get traded soon.

A 30 year old injury prone player who has ONE partial season of productivity at the MLB level who rips the organization that kept him around for 13 years.Ripping management…..? Did mangement get him hurt or cause his eyes problems? Cards stuck withh him when they easily could have traded him or released him.So in return he turn egotistical FBomb loudmouth biting the hand that feeds him.Keep waving that red cape in front of the bull Pham and hopefully you get a new playing address soon.

So bigmouth Pham had a partial season worth a damn and that makes him the judge on management choosing guys who could stay on the field and didn`t get a hangnail or have eye issues. The same Pham would struck out 40plus % in 2016 and played crappy enough in Spring training last year to deserve a demotion and the same management that kept his ungrateful arrogant self around for 13 years.Enough is enough.Get rid of that jackass.

Mikolas kept the Cards in the game.He did his job.He pitched into the 6th inning and with the million man bullpen the Cards have i see no big deal.If you are going to have a million man bullpen you might as welll use it.As for giving up Homers in Milwaukee …………………..everybody gives up HRs in Brewers park.I like the fact that Mikolas didn`t bellyup like Carlos the day.

I just don`t understand batting DeJong 7th. If Molina gets on base then his slowness pretty much kills DeJong getting a extra base hit unless DEJong hits a Homerun.IMHO Molina should hit 8th.

I still think batting Yadi ahead of DeJong kills DeJongs chances of getting extra base hits with Molasses Molina in front of him.IMHO as a amchair GM and manager Yadi bats 8th all the time.
