when will we find out their assigned teams?
thanks Brian
Brian,
Thanks a ton for your great coverage of the WW.per Cards official website, Pallante got # 53
Thnx for this thread. I came here to see if there was one, and there WAS. 🙂
Hopefully the OP can update as new mocks come out.
Please and thank you for that.why is the question
“the return for NA” was the subject of a Rockies podcast I was watching.
They are pretty happy to get Mateo Gil.
They wanted him badly in the draft but the Cards, drafting just ahead of the Rockies, took him.I didn’t read all of this thread so I don’t know if this has been discussed or not. If so, I apologize.
My questions is this:
If the 2-4 in the batting order are Carlson, Goldschmidt and Arenado, who bats fifth providing protection for Arenado?
same question if Goldy and NA are 4/3 instead of 3/4.
who bats fifth protecting the clean-up hitter?most would say DeJong, but is that REALLY much protection?
thanks Brian.
your website remains AWESOMEBrian,
Why would the Cards release their 2019 pitcher of the year in the Dominican Luis Andujar?
ERA and the fact he was their POY screams keep him, no?cooperative implies the two sides cooperate. not so true many times. :}
“Cooperative Bargaining Agreement”
that’s kind of funny.
I suspect you did that on purpose Brian.BTW…good article on Molina
Thanks.oh.
thanks.where is Thompson?
my bad. 🙂
BTW, my comment for your Mets are a mess thread:
Cards are a mess
Here is a free preview of my trade deadline expectations article:

Cardinals-Cubs Series Postponed Due To Additional Covid-19 Positive(s)
By Steve Adams | August 7, 2020 at 5:04pm CDT5:04pm: MLB will postpone this weekend’s Cards-Cubs series, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports.
8:39pm: The Cardinals have been cleared to travel and return to the field, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch tweets. They’re in line to resume their season Friday.
that is VERY GOOD SUPERB NEWS !!
the bad news is with the way the Cubs are currently playing, we need all our horses but we’ll be 7 horses short
news out of Springfield isn’t exactly flowing freely, is it?
too bad
with all the bad news with the big club, we could use some “other” news
even tidbits would be welcomenot going to Detroit:

could be, barring injuries, Cards keep him down.
However….I guess my take is that the Cards would never let him EVEN GET close to the last year of control, whether that be 2026 or 2027
In about 2024 they will sign him to buy out his arbitration years like they have so many others.
