The infatuation with Edman is something I just don’t get. The speed and fielding is definitely intriguing and I’m not writing him off for the future, but the fact is he has the same OPS+ as Carpenter. But Edman is being praised for it (while Carpenter is being bashed) and Lane Thomas is riding the pine because of it

Man baseball is a lot of fun to watch when the offense is doing this and we’re winning games. Just heard the best OBP on this team is .345, which is frightening. But I am going to choose not to care about that right now.
Obviously love wainwright but I am really over it. Tough to watch the games he pitches and every road game we need 6 innings from the pen
Hopefully wainwright can put it in the strike zone with the bigger lead. And hopefully that leads to outs and some innings
Goldschmidt has failed in huge situations all season. Tonight might be the biggest example. His first season would have to take a crazy turn to not go down as a bust
