Of course the FOX station in Oklahoma is showing the Cubs vs Red Sox instead of the Cardinals. Going to have to find new evening plans I guess.
Opinions on the future of Kyle Leahy. The announcers during telecasts have mentioned multiple times this season that because of his 5 pitch arsenal he could be given the opportunity to move back to being a starter. Looking at his minor league stats he was a starter in A and AA until 2022. So should he be given the opportunity to start next year or stay in the bullpen as a late inning guy?

Based on the fact that the tarp is currently on the field I’m going to assume this one has a delayed start.I’m trying to recall the last time I saw a 1B’man batting lead-off.

I’m a little torn on this one. Andrew Heaney played for my alma mater Oklahoma State and I watched him pitch multiple times so I would like for him to do good. Hopefully they will pull him after 5 or 6 innings and we then light up their bullpen for several runs.
I learned something today from watching the game. Had never heard of Sheetz (the logo on the Pirates uniform and behind the mound). Googled and found out it is a family owned chain of convenience stores with about 750 locations.
Libby got squeezed on a full count pitch that appeared to be a strike then lost total control and walked the next hitter. Time for the bullpen to nail this one down.
I’m watching this game exactly the same as the others. Using my Amazon Firestick plugged into my 65 inch TV instead of choosing the FanDuel Sports app I simply chose the Roku channel app. FYI – I subscribe to Apple TV + so I watch those games the exact same way by clicking on the Apple TV app.
About halfway through the season. Time to revisit some of those bold predictions. Mine definitely aren’t looking so good.
Was a good Fathers Day. Took my Dad to a local BBQ place for the Sunday Brunch Buffet and found out that Fathers got to eat for free today.

Update: Contreras homer so no save opportunity.Pallante had a great 4 innings but when the offense gives you 7 runs you have to be an able to get through the fifth. I’m past ready to swap him for McGreevy (or Matz).
