Good play by Winn to get Horowitz trying to take third on the grounder. 5 hits now in the inning by the pirates. Fedde should be done. I think the last 2 innings have killed him.

Like the announcers said, if Fedde is not going to get the corners and the other team is not going to swing out of the zone, he is not good.

Sorry everyone. I turn the game on and Fedde proceeds to decide it is batting practice today and wants to end the winning streak. I’ll blame it on me as he must have wanted me to not enjoy the game when I can watch.

I’d have to say that other than the visitor half of the 9th inning of game 1 of the ’22 NLWC, this inning has been the Cardinal manager’s finest performance…

We need to get Skenes out there pitching so we’d have a chance in this one. As it stands now, it looks hopeless.

Kind of hard to blame this on Herrera being IL. He doesn’t pitch that well either.

So far, the Pirates MVP for the game is a tie: Horowitz, Haney and Fedde.

I’m going with the grounds crew. They added something to the Cardinals dugout to put the team to sleep. Hopefully it wears off.

I wasn’t all that excited about getting Fedde last season. He’s essentially Mikolas stuff-wise just with a different strategy on throwing far fewer strikes. He gets ok results a lot of the time just like Miles. But they both are prone to blowups when they don’t hit their locations.
