6:40 p.m.
RHP Sonny Gray (7-1, 3.35) vs. RHP Jacob Misiorowski (MLB debut)
MLB Network // FanDuel // KMOXJune 12, 2025 at 12:05 pm #284685We have a chance in this one simply because Sonny Gray is pitching.
The main thing we need to hope for is that Front Row Amy is in attendance tonight.
Din din today will be Hungry Man’s Turkey TV dinner along with some deviled eggs and bread/butter, an ice cold slushy Mt. Dew, and then a chocolate shake for dessert. All of that after I mow the yard, spread a little of the pilfered gravel, and put a new clamp on my mailbox post to help keep it more secure. Then a little jogging as well.

June 12, 2025 at 2:37 pm #284689I’ll be in attendance tonight and Saturday. I’ll let Front Row Amy know that she has a secret admirer, Rat. Over the years, the Cardinals win at about a 75% clip when I’m watching them live. Do not……and I repeat do NOT put this game into the win column just yet. The odds are certainly in our favor, but when they seem too good….watch out. Since moving to the Madison area, which is only an hour’s drive from Milwaukee, I only take in about 10-15 games a year.
What’s for din-din tonight one may ask? Brats are big at the ol’ ballpark, but I much prefer all beef hot dogs. One with kraut, yellow mustard and onions and the other with just yellow mustard and onions. I’ll add on some fries and peanuts in the shell and wash it all down with root beer. As is my custom, I will also have my small smuggled in bottle of Wild Turkey at my side to cure all that may ail me.

jj-cf-stlParticipantSame lineup as yesterday vs the lefty, w/out Donny, this time with Pages catching. Going to see some heat tonight!

jj-cf-stlParticipantWillson chased bad. Morowski needs that.
June 12, 2025 at 7:03 pm #284706After the 4 consecutive losses, let’s hope Gray can demonstrate the role of a stopper.
June 12, 2025 at 7:09 pm #284707I’m with Pugs on the correct method in which to dress up a hot dog, however it’s been my experience that the hot dogs that always seem to taste the best are the ones that are made with inferior ingredients and terrible for your health…I’ll devour a half dozen of ’em by the home half of the 5th…Haha!
June 12, 2025 at 7:15 pm #284708Two out triple and infield single for a Brewers run. Burleson really needed to attack the ball going into the corner.
June 12, 2025 at 7:29 pm #284709And oh, in regards to the smuggled Wild Turkey…We used to sit close to a guy who always sat alone and came equipped with a scorecard, a local paper, the ever-present transistor radio and a pair of binocs. He seemed to always be dressed in a worn pair of bermuda shorts, T-shirt, white socks and an old scuffed up pair of wingtip shoes that looked as though he also deployed them for yardwork…For refreshments, he’d have a large bag of grocery store bought salted in the shells and the sort of homemade sandwich that a working stiff might pack for his lunchbox. He’d smoke cheap cigars for the entire game and his favorite beverage was a pint of Old Crow bourbon whiskey. That guy could almost always tell us exactly what was going to happen at least 2 or 3 innings in advance…
June 12, 2025 at 7:57 pm #284711Misiorowski has some electric stuff. The Brewers may have a budding ace in him. He has always had great stuff in the minors but the question on him has been command, but he seems to be improving there. It is typical for tall guys like him to struggle with command early in their careers. He does look like just skin and bones as he is incredibly lanky.
June 12, 2025 at 7:57 pm #284712No hits through five innings.
Imagine that.
June 12, 2025 at 8:02 pm #284713Boy oh boy, Burleson looked bad on that. No E-9 either.
June 12, 2025 at 8:03 pm #284714Burleson basically allowed the first run too by making the double a triple.
June 12, 2025 at 8:03 pm #284715Yeah 1TD Burly did. That turned a single into a double, but in the end it doesn’t look to have mattered since it is a hit parade right now
June 12, 2025 at 8:04 pm #284716All of the sudden everyone is destroying Gray
June 12, 2025 at 8:04 pm #284717And now Mr. Cheerio hits a 2 run HR. Boy the wheels came off this inning.
June 12, 2025 at 8:05 pm #284718My goodness…The gearbox quickly scattered coming out of turn 3…
June 12, 2025 at 8:05 pm #284719
jj-cf-stlParticipantBurly is in RF to make Walker look good when he comes back. The blinders know all!
June 12, 2025 at 8:05 pm #284720Granillo to make his big league debug. I’m excited to see what he has. It cannot possibly be worse than Munoz and Roycroft
June 12, 2025 at 8:07 pm #284721Granillo has long been one of my favorites!
June 12, 2025 at 8:16 pm #284722
jj-cf-stlParticipantMcG for Morowski, which club says no?
June 12, 2025 at 8:19 pm #284724
jj-cf-stlParticipantTough way to lose a no-hitter after 5 IP
June 12, 2025 at 8:22 pm #284725JJ that choice is incredibly easy. Milwaukee. McGreevy has changed my thoughts on him completely, but Misiorowski has a much higher ceiling. He has a 70 grade fastball and 60-65 slider. He could anchor the Brewers rotation one day while as much as I like McGreevy lately, he is a #3 upside and most likely good #4
June 12, 2025 at 8:23 pm #284726Noot needs to get going. He started out really great for the year and lately he has really been slumping
