Liberatore gives up 3 runs in the first and throws 30 pitches. Going to be tough to come back in this one.
Just got to see Teoscar Hernandez hit a 3 run homer to give the Dodgers and 4-3 lead in the 4th. (Sigh)
And FYI, front row Amy is in full view every pitch.Just got home from a family reunion and tuned in to my local Fox station out of Oklahoma City and unbelievably they are showing the Dodgers vs Brewers this evening. MLB hates baseball fans.
Tried opening my FoxSports app and it says the game is blacked out.An article I read said Nootbar was eligible to come off the DL on May 24th. I’m thinking based on the schedule a more likely debut would be against the Cubs on the 29th.
May looked good through 3 innings but not so much in the 4th giving up 2 runs on a couple of walks and a couple of hits.
Took a gander at the Palm Beach box score and saw that in 2 at bats Nootbar has a walk and a homerun. Good to see him start his rehab assignment and have success.
Din-din you say? Leftover chicken fried steak reheated in the air fryer with mash potatoes all smothered in cream gravy with sautéed squash, sweet peppers and onions on the side. For dessert I had some banana cream pie pudding.
I assume after 3 days off Scott will be back in the starting lineup.

Rodriguez is now 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. He has 1 error with a bad throw to second trying to catch a runner stealing. Throw was in time but short hopped the second baseman who completely missed it.
The pitching has been terrible for both teams with the score 7-5 in favor of Springfield. Braden Davis started and gave up 5 runs in the 3rd and got pulled.Tuned in to watch the Springfield Cardinals while waiting for our game tonight. Rodriguez singles in his first at bat.
For din-din this evening we had chicken fried steak, roasted sweet pototo in the air fryer and some green beans.Not that it would have made a difference, but Tatis didn’t exactly give max effort running back to the wall after the error. Would be interesting to know if any of his coaches said anything to him about it in the dugout.

Liberatore has looked great through 6. Unfortunately so did King. Glad to see King not return for the seventh. And just like that Walker greets the new pitcher with a lead off double. Winn follows with a triple to give us the lead.
Good trivia question. I have no idea. Greg Vaughn had at least one great year but don’t think he played there long enough. Same with Ken Caminiti and Gary Sheffield.
We have unfortunately seen this Pallante before. Hopefully he can get it together and cover a few more innings before the bullpen arms start coming in.

After the eighth inning I felt compelled to look up the current ERA’s of our pitching staff. My first thought after seeing the numbers was, “How in the world does this team have a winning record?”Lots of great din-dins today! I will be going to Texas Roadhouse to help celebrate my grandsons 2nd birthday. Will be ordering a sirloin steak with baked sweet potato and fresh veggies. And if I’m lucky a large portion of the grandsons birthday ice cream.
Not liking our chances in the game tonight. My prediction is we lose 6-3.So are they bringing up Dobbins to be the sacrificial lamb against Skenes then send him right back to Memphis? Or are they going to let him take a few turns in the rotation?
Didn’t see this coming! 7 runs on 4 homeruns against Woo. Baseball is a unpredictable game sometimes.
I’m going to agree with other posters that this lineup doesn’t make sense. Why would you need to give players a day off before an off day. These are elite athletes in the prime of their youth. I just can’t believe they would not be able to perform playing almost everyday. At least you could preplan and stagger the off days for your starters.
Herrera prevented the shutout but didn’t get to see it due to technicals issues with the telecast.

How much runway does Victor get if he continues to struggle at the plate? Is sending him to Memphis an option or will his defense keep him on the roster? My guess is they will keep him on the roster until Nootbar is ready to be activated then a decision will be made.
Stanek continues to have no control. He better figure it out pretty soon or a decision will need to made about him.
But we are winning 5-1 so “yeah”!
