I know it’s hard to believe, but Lance is in better shape and feels as good or better than he ever has…Over time I’ve noticed that all players over 35 years old feel that way in March.

First time I’ve seen Gorman take his rips this year. The rips could be described as vicious and they were vs. a lefty.
I almost have an easier time reading the Stifel patch on his sleeve than the three small letters that spell the name on the back of Rom’s jersey.

By the way, did anybody see the passed ball that Contreras gave up in the first inning? Was certainly a catchable ball.
The box score shows Liberatore getting roughed up in the 1st was pulled with two outs, then came back for the second. Ollie has done that a couple times at least this spring. Starters need to be able to pull out of a nose dive.
