I went and saw the Big Boy train this morning. Slept like crap and the crowds were insane. So I haven’t dined yet. Might be Cozy Dog. I may make Chorizo Chili in the slow cooker for tomorrow or maybe a late night 4th meal. Lol
May has looked very pedestrian since his little ailments popped up. His FIP says he should be better but his value is dropping a little from a trade standpoint. Might not be the haul we though we could get from him and JoJo. Still a couple weeks to right the ship.
July 17, 2026 at 2:42 am in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #96 thread – Friday, July 17 at Arizona #313295Why are we TBD? I know we’ve had some days off but the rotation should be the same through unless they are worried about being at Bank One Ballpark and the match ups.
July 12, 2026 at 4:19 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #95 thread – Sunday, July 12 vs. Atlanta Braves #312866The 9th was a bit if a mess. Crooks K’s for the 3rd time to end it.
Looks like we reached a tad for out CB-B pick.
July 10, 2026 at 7:02 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #93 thread – Friday, July 10 vs. Atlanta Braves #312520Ivan an all-star.
July 10, 2026 at 2:05 am in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #92 thread – Thur, July 9 vs. Milwaukee Brewers #312448Gastelum has hittalbe stuff. Think he will be ok long run when he figures it out.
July 10, 2026 at 2:04 am in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #92 thread – Thur, July 9 vs. Milwaukee Brewers #312447I don’t think and never have that Herrera is a catcher. This dream he has must end. OF or DH.
You might be onto something. We have Baez waiting and Ivan might be expendable for the right price. He needs to get warm a bit to get max value.
July 9, 2026 at 10:24 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #92 thread – Thur, July 9 vs. Milwaukee Brewers #312437Herrera is slumping badly.
July 9, 2026 at 8:09 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #92 thread – Thur, July 9 vs. Milwaukee Brewers #312427Is Svanson available tonight?
July 7, 2026 at 11:50 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #90 thread – Tues, July 7 vs. Milwaukee Brewers-DH Game 2 #312278My guess is they left Schuster in that long because he will likely be DFA tomorrow?
I thought we were sellers no matter what. I’m pretty sure they’ll be fielding calls after the weekend on 4-5 guys.
July 6, 2026 at 10:53 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #88 thread – Monday, July 6 vs. Milwaukee Brewers #312182They need a lefty for the pen! They got has a sprained ankle.
I’ve been harping on the need for lefty arms. We are down to one. Where do we get another?
July 6, 2026 at 8:40 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #88 thread – Monday, July 6 vs. Milwaukee Brewers #312166Bruihl got injured on that fielding attempt. We are down to one lefty in the pen if he goes on the shelf. That is trouble season.
July 5, 2026 at 6:31 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #87 thread – Sunday, July 5 at Chicago Cubs #312045Fermin is a clear example of a jack of all but master of none. I don’t think he’s great in the OF either but Oli likes him on the roster due to his flexibility and right handed bat. Blaze I feel would be back in AAA if it wasn’t for Gorman sucking down in Memphis. So I don’t think we can really win at 3rd. The defense was solid with Gorman. Blaze hasn’t had much run full time in the minors and Fermin is all over the diamond. So I expect some issues on defense.
July 5, 2026 at 4:24 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #87 thread – Sunday, July 5 at Chicago Cubs #312036I didn’t get to see the game today even though the house and dog im watching had peacock. Too much stuff to do with a Holiday on a Saturday.
Eh we got the series again. Content with that.
JJ should be there and questionable that Burly should be there.
July 4, 2026 at 5:05 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #86 thread – Saturday, July 4 at Chicago Cubs #311880I have been watching the weather on and off due to my 250th participation in the blowing up of illegal fireworks this evening. I expect at least an hour delay if not more.
Dinner today is me being lazy and driving to portillos for the Char’dinera hot dog, 4pc tendies with small onion rings and an Arnold Palmer. I may purchase a strawberry shortcake to go.
I’m not concerned about Crooks yet. He really hasn’t had much time with Pages and Hererra also behind the dish.
July 3, 2026 at 2:16 am in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #84 thread – Thursday, July 2 at Atlanta Braves #311702Our righty dominant pen will doom us in Chicago.
July 2, 2026 at 9:31 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #84 thread – Thursday, July 2 at Atlanta Braves #311696What an odd game.
Unfortunately our pen is pretty much blown for tomorrow. Soriano, O’Brien, Racjic. Maybe we get Stanek back but our lefty situation is bothersome headed into the weekend. You would assume Bruihl is burned for the weekend.
June 30, 2026 at 4:26 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #82 thread – Tuesday, June 30 at Atlanta Braves #311475JJ
Ivan C
JW
Nelson DH
Fermin
Winn
Noot
Blaze
ChurchMartin Perez on the bump for hotlanta.
They need to lean on pitching.
With the lack of depth (or so it seems) .Pitching seems to be a need if some of these guys at the upper levels don’t work out.
I feel Flores and Bloom will make the best call and draft the best player available.
Not hard to top Gorman’s production and look like a starting option. The OBP is very low but that can be said of a lot of young power hitting rookies when the come up.
June 28, 2026 at 3:33 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #81 thread – Sunday, June 28 vs. Miami Marlins #311327After starting the leadoff man 3-0. Potatoes O’Brien sets them all down and we win.
June 27, 2026 at 8:10 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #80 thread – Saturday, June 27 vs. Miami Marlins #311227Another ho hum performance. Pallante was lucky to give up 4 runs. Offense sputtering.
Trade deadline sellers. Which is what they should be in a rebuilding year.

I just saw this article and they had 4 prospects that the writer said the Brass couldn’t ignore to bring up soon. #1 is someone I’ve never heard of. Can someone give me background on who he is? Lol
