Glad to see Pages as a defensive replacement. Its too bad Crooks needs to be replaced though.

Haha…Autographs are similar to foul ball or HR souvenirs in the sense that an autograph don’t count if you pay for it and a foul ball or HR souvenir don’t count if you snag it while wearing a mitt…Unless, of course, you’re 12 years of age or younger…

I said it the other day and I’ll say it again…Not only does he scuffle, but Church also generates a little power at times. And those times have been when it really counts.

I’d almost rather see a pitcher come in from the BP and set the baseball on a tee, than see him donate a BB to the first batter he faces.

We need a 3B’man. Oh, where are you, Scott Rolen?

Well done. The pen was a welcome surprise.

    What an odd game.

Unfortunately our pen is pretty much blown for tomorrow. Soriano, O’Brien, Racjic. Maybe we get Stanek back but our lefty situation is bothersome headed into the weekend. You would assume Bruihl is burned for the weekend.

Yeah, after all the smoke and flames generated from the 7th inning 7 run hitting barrage, it’s easy to lose sight of a BP that collectively pieced together a shade more than 8 innings of 3 hit shutout work. The little whiz-kid NL MOY used 5 arms and all 5 turned in nice performances with Graceffo the winning pitcher of decision. He’s now 6-1 on the season. That’s a better W/L pct. than Misiorowski…Haha!

After pushing 4 runs across HP tonight, Walker’s now the NL RBI leader with 63. The 24 year old RF’s putting together a nice season.

Fantastic job by the bullpen. Great to see the offense have a breakout. They leave Atlanta with a needed series win. Let’s hope the Redbirds can do the same in Chicago.

Our righty dominant pen will doom us in Chicago.

I read an article a day or two ago calling for Jordan to ‘return to his natural position’ of 3b.

Is that true? Did he play 3b?

Yes, I believe he played that position in HS and started his minor league career as a third baseman.
