Because Gorman should be playing second and only second. Donovan can play 3rd when Arenado is out or at DH. Gorman needs all the time at second because he won’t be playing third regularly. Stop moving him around when there is no need.
I noticed the same Brian. Maybe they want to keep Noot as the CF going forward and forever. Not good news for Carlson. The Donovan/Gorman makes no sense.
James Paxton has pitched 20.1 innings in 2020, 1.1 in 2021 and 0 in 2022. This is a very winnable game.

They need to move Gorman down in the order. He is not a #3 hitter and right now he is slumping and needs to make adjustments. He is more a #5 or #6 hitter.
They’re not going to spend money on a GM or a manager. Or give a new GM money to spend. This team has Goldy, Nado and Contreras. There is no more money to spend.
Turnbull sucks. They will finally win a game. I won’t watch as I need to go out but I am pretty confident.
This is a win. The Tigers are dead last in most hitting categories and Montgomery is the best we have.
