As a lifelong Cardinal fan, I’m outraged Marmol is coming back. 2025 will be another wasted season. I’m not alone in these feelings. They better expect LOTS of empty seats next year.

First of all, please take “The Lou” uniforms and burn them. What the hell is The Lou? A bathroom in the UK?
Second, Marmol has to go. That experiment has failed miserably.
Third, we need coaching changes as well.
The once vaunted and respected St. Louis Cardinals are quickly turning into the Cubs.
Fourth, I think the fan base, the best in baseball, deserves better than they are receiving. I’m asking the DeWitt family to sell the franchise if this is the best you can do.

I’ve been a Cardinal fan for 60 years now. I never, ever, saw anything like we have the last couple of years. Are we becoming the “ new Cubs”? It sure looks like it. When do we say enough is enough? The fans, the best in baseball, deserve better than this. A LOT better.

My question is, why is Flaherty suddenly a great pitcher again? You are seeing that more and more. Players “suddenly” can play once they leave St Louis. Do the Red Sox have a better pitching coach? Better manager? Flaherty has floundered how many years now, and suddenly he’s Sandy Koufax?
