.252/.289/.385 is NOT even worth putting in the lineup just because he is left handed that is stupid decision especially when you take into the fact he is NOT an OF!
Yes it is stupid to start him in the OF period, if you want him to play put him at 3rd, putting him in OF is silly at best!
Once again lets bet utterly STUPID and start Carp at 3b and put a IF in the OF when the Cards have better options….god our manager is a clueless fool!
NO he should not he is NOT a oF we have 2 young OF that are as good if not better hitters than him that need to be playing…he is as IF and that is where he should stay period!
What is comical is that Shildt keeps putting IF in OF when he has just as good if not BETTER hitting options who can actually Play OF
I have zero problem with Edman playing, but he needs to be in the IF period, Shildt needs to get his head out of hi collective rear and sit Carp, he can’t hit at all..and Thomas and Arozarena need to be starting in the OF when Edman is out there end of story…..his love affair of putting IF into the outfield is DUMB AS can be!
Players 100% absolutely play based on their salary, it happens all the time in lots of sports. The cards were for some stupid reason the Cards were 100% ok with losing games last year by keep running Fowler out there last year.
This is prime example of why trading prospects isn’t as bad as MO believes it to be, just can’t count on them

There are no FACts on if rehab stats mean anything….don’t be silly…they should and DO matter beacuse if the guy isn’t hitting crappy AA / AAA pitching he not going to hit ML pitching dont be foolish saying rehab stats don’t mean anything that is just foolish talk!

Sorry Forsch i was reading a comment Edman made when he was asked the last time he played Of….either way it is beyond stupid of the manager to do that when Lane THomas would have been a TON better option….it isn’t like Edman hitting great right now
I thought we were over playing people in potions they shouldn’t be playing.. when we got rid of the last manager…but i guess even this one is dumb enough to put Edman in the OF when he hasn’t played there since he was 12 or 13…unreal how stupid this org is getting
