I have a question about Fangraphs Roster Resource – Depth Charts. Looking at the current Cardinals chart, I see players listed on different teams than they were at the end of last year. Is this their guess or do they have some inside information about players being promoted? Also, some players weren’t even listed (ie. Tommy Jew). Thanks for any help on this!

So are all minor leaguers in some sort of Spring Training now? I assume they play games against other teams eventually, but really don’t know! Haven’t heard anything about the Cardinals minor leaguers being in camp but see other teams players pop up in stories online. Anyone have the scoop?

Brian, Have you heard anything about the DSL teams being combined into one team? MiLB shows the DSL Red team has been combined with the Blue, but no players dropped yet. I guess since they don’t start until summer, no official moves are necessary yet. Only players moving up to the Complex league would be impacted by any transactions now. With minor league ST starting soon, you would think some player movement would be happening in the next week or so. Any thoughts?

Hey Brian, any word on the Cuban Reimi Garcia signing? Saw the post by ejgonz22 earlier in this thread but haven’t heard anything about this player. Also, wasn’t there a Cuban pitcher putting on a showcase last week? Wondered if the Cards may be interested in him as well?

Is there any way to know how much the Cards have invested in the current 12 IFA to know how much is still left to spend?

How many players can be put on the Memphis roster to protect them from the minor league portion of the draft? I count only 27 on the Memphis website roster currently.
