The info I saw says Rincon and Mendoza are free agents unless re-signed but Clemente is only Rule 5 eligible. Not saying this info is gospel, but just what I saw.

I thought Blaze was doing ok for a rookie. His ops is better than Gorman, Pages, Crooks, Urías, Scott and Saggese. Do I think we can do better at 3rd base, yes! But not sure why you are do down on him.

It is highly likely that the delay is due to the required background and drug testing. If he fails, he was never officially signed.
Since he has never been announced, may we assume that the signing is either delayed or won’t happen? I remember the publicized “signing” of Luis Manuel León back in 2023 that never happened, and he signed in 2024 with the Marlins.
Maybe no International signings in 2027! Not sure if they will resume after a contract is settled on or not.
The 2026–27 international signing period is not expected to take place, according to multiple industry sources.

Someone help me out here. As I look at the Matrix, I see 26 players on the active roster, two on 60-IL stints (which don’t count on the 40 man roster) and 12 in AAA Memphis. At this point, until Urias is activated, aren’t there 38 on the active roster? Somehow, I miscalculated and had 39 with all the roster moves and trades, but unless I am missing something, there should only be 38 active now; right?

Brian, how can Palm Beach have more than 30 players on their active list? Is that just a paper shuffle they do on game day without making the transaction page? Just curious.
