I would vote for Ted Simmons and Dwight Evans. Simba’s numbers rank with all the great catchers in baseball and he played his career in a Pitcher’s ballpark. Dewey’s numbers mirror Jim Rice’s and you tack on the 8 Gold Gloves and he’s a slam dunk for me.

    31. Logan Gragg – Dominated as a reliever in SC, so they promoted him to Peoria where he was put into the rotation. In eight starts he had a 3.38era with a K per inning.

CC, Gomber did not pitch in the majors this year. He did not throw one single pitch for the team. He was injured most of the year in Springfield. However, he did throw that much in 2018, so ineligible.

After a year when our system was flying high, it collectively fell on its face. It was a bad year for our hopefuls and that is why I’m going with the newbies.

    11. Justin Williams
    12. Edmundo Sosa – This was the best season of his minor league career. He’s ready for the majors. He’s as consistent as they come. He either gets traded or pushes Paul DeJong over to 3b.
    13. Junior Fernandez – He’s now in the show and will stay there. Reliever or not, he’ll have a long career and that counts for something.
    14. Jhon Torres – I’m not completely sold on him yet, so next season will be a ‘yes I am’ or ‘no I’m not’ a prospect statement for me.

    4. Arozarena -While everyone was focused on Carlson, Randy put on a hitting barrage that screamed “Hey look at me!” The numbers don’t lie, he owned AAA pitching.
    5. Malcom Nunez – The Tsunami of DR players hitting the state-side shores was huge and most of them flopped on the beach, but a very young Nunez held his own and next year he will again excel.
    6. Zack Thompson – Respect for his first overall choice. Our scouts know their business.

Thanks Brian, that clears it up. I thought it had to be something like that.

BHC Balbuena moved to the mound last season. He only pitched one inning rather unsuccessfully at that.
