Ramon Santos didn’t make our top 75 list but he had a pretty good year at Palm Beach and figure he would be at Double A next year if he would sign back with Cards.

Our top 30 has a pretty good distribution by position but is top heavy by league:
Majority of playing time:
12 AAA, 6 AA, 4 A+, 2 A, 6 A-) (A- = (State college, Johnson City, GCL and DSL)13 Pitchers (4 AAA,4 AA, 2 A+, 1 A, 2 A-)
3 Catchers (1 AAA, 1 AA, 1 A+)
1 First (A+)
1 Second (AAA)
3 Short (1 AAA, 1 A, 1 A-)
3 Third (1 AA, 1 A+, 1 A-)
6 Outfield ( 3 AAA, 1 AA, 2 A-)

16. Fletcher (I did have Edmundo Sosa at this spot and am surprised that he is not eligible for the prospect list. He only has 7 career major league at bats. ??

7. Woodford

I would have gone Thomas and Helsley 4th and 5th. Thomas has had 38 major league at bats and is not eligible. Knizner has had 47 major league at bats and is prospect #3 (and deservedly so) Go figure.
1. Carlson
2. Gorman
3. KniznerDon’t know if this has already been posted elsewhere on this site but I was surprised to see that Blake Drake is now listed as a pitcher on the Gulf Coast roster.
Brian, With the Cardinals now having 2 teams in the DSL and with them bringing 28 players from the DSL to EST, do you see them adding a second team in the GCL. Several organizations already have 2 teams in the GCL (Phils, Yankees, Tigers and the Cubs, Indians, Padres and Giants have 2 teams in the Arizona League). Is there a lack of talent at this point to field 2 teams or is it cost prohibitive to do so or a combination of the two.
SP- Krucynski, Walsh, Meisner, Arauz, Warner
RP- Cruz, Rameriez, Williams, Elledge, Latchem, Fernandez, Gonzalez, Patterson
C- Martinez, O’Keefe
1- Baker, Trosclair
2- Lopez
SS- Truinful, Robertson
3- Montero
OF- Carlson, Capel, Pinder, Mieses
My Guess for Springfield but so many pitchers that could be on the AA roster. (Fagalde, Pearce, Shew, and half dozen more) and catcher (Chinea, Godoy, Hudson) -
