Brian I am more concerned with a guy leading off hitting .155 and strikeout more than I did in college at the bars than innings of a reliever. Carpenter needs to either sit or get sent down so he can work with a real hitting coach.
Why does Pham sit as much as he does? Guy is on base all the time while two others in the lineup all the time are hitting at .200 or less.
And now in the 6th Martinez is blowing up – but gets a strikeout and a DP to get out of the mess with no runs scored.
Anybody else worried about Hicks ability to flat out miss bats? His K numbers are not good at all with the stuff and movement he has.
Hicks is not even on my radar of things that concern me with this club right now.

Carpenter refusing to fix his swing and go back to be a doubles hitter and not striking out so much.

DeJong striking out at least once a game.
Wacha going 5 innings most outings
are all issue that rank much higher on my concern list“I know JMart is a big RBI guy but why wasn’t he bunting? If he gets the bunt down they then walk Ozuna and we have Yadi up with the bases loaded. I like my chances there because Yadi is always clutch.”

DeJong is both the guy you want the plate and don’t want. He is all of nothing, unfortunately, it was the nothing tonight in the clutch.
DeJong K’s for the 4th time. That means unless the game goes to extra innings, over half the outs to night were strikeouts.
Bader got a nice job on that ball. Good win, sloppy in the field but lets win ugly than lose pretty.
He gets his feelings hurt over being moved down for NOT doing his job he needs to find a new job. I sorry but he is not bigger than the team and sitting him or moving him down is best for the team.
A .142 hitter makes this even more interesting.
