At what point does Matheny sit Carpenter? He is not right and shows no signs of getting there. Wow that was a weak looking at bat.
Carp hasn’t looked good for some time. His lack of hitting and twice as many strikeouts should cause for concern for someone.
B.J. Rains works in Idaho now, but still follows the Cards.

Brian hard to argue with him, Carpenter looks lost at the plate and you just can’t keep letting him make 4 outs a game.
The Cards’ solution to getting Carpenter right may just be to put him back at leadoff, where he will get even more at-bats. Can’t risk hurting feelings…
He gets his feelings hurt over being moved down for NOT doing his job he needs to find a new job. I sorry but he is not bigger than the team and sitting him or moving him down is best for the team.
He will bat first no doubt. I may be wrong but I think Carp’s nagging injuries will prevent him to be himself.
If Carpenter is injured (again/still), why can they not get him right? And if it is chronic, then what should his future be?
