24 hours is more than an adequate amount of time for people to vote. We are pretty much aware at this point who the voters are.

I agree Nyquist. We waited like 3 days for the previous round because guys weren’t voting “in a timely” manner.

Any Cards fan who says they didn’t mind seeing the Cubs win should have their fan card revoked.

Too busy to redo you list but plenty of time to keep posting in other threads? We’ve been waiting several days now. Tick tock tick tock.

I’m a big fan of replay. I agree with Onyxgem. Better to get the play right.

Do the Cards protect him or take the chance? That’s a very tough call.

I don’t get all the complaining by some prominent sports writers about postseason baseball taking longer in time. Its the postseason and for as long as I remember its always gotten slower during the playoffs. Some of the old Yankees-Red Sox games would take 4+ hours for a 9 inning game.

The whole thing regarding his wife was only a big deal by Trump supporters and was blown out of proportion. Of course he’d have problems with the Muslim ban as many other Americans did.

But to stay on topic Fowler will either need to change positions or be benched. Its a lot of money to bench him but if he isn’t going to help the team by moving he either needs to sit or accept a trade. His injuries had nothing to do with his poor defense. Substandard doesn’t even begin to describe how bad he was.

Its just odd to me because I’ve seen some guys we’ve been waiting on comment in other threads over the past day but haven’t bothered to vote this round.

But we can’t use Fowler as a leadoff hitter because Carp is practically unable to hit anywhere else than leadoff which hurts the lineup.

Sooner I made the same comments to Brian on twitter. Why would Clapp put in Zeid in that situation knowing he hadn’t been good all season. Many of us (myself included) complain about Matheny’s bullpen management and Clapp pulled a very similar move. That didn’t and doesn’t sit well with me.

The advanced metrics comment bothers me because it seems Matheny wasn’t receptive of advanced metrics either. If he was why did he keep starting Fowler in center field and why would he bring in a reliever that would be disadvantaged? Not buying that.

I chuckled, mudville. You bring up Bruce Bochy and he’s won 2 world series championships. Remind me, has Matheny won 2 world series championships as manager?

No BC. The Matheny bashing sums up our unified understanding Matheny is a poor manager. Its a shame you can’t see the same thing the rest of us see.

I see Sooner is still living with his head in the sand, ignoring all of the articles calling Matheny a poor tactician and calling for his firing.

Flaherty looked bad in the 1st inning. Not just his control but his body language was bad. Slumped shoulders, frowning, wrong pitching position. 4-0 Brewers bottom 1st

Wont matter who they bring in with MM still destroying the bullpens he is given and not knowing when to yank the starting pitcher and refusing to make the infield work on defense and hold players accountable for poor base running.
