A wee bit of trouble here after the Oli tossing. Might we think about making a change?
June 13, 2026 at 3:16 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #68 thread – Saturday, June 13 at Minnesota Twins #309777Its nice to have that top 5 of JJ, Ivan The Terrible, Burly, Walker and Noooootbarr! Didn’t have them all in today but nice to see them all do something regardless of when.
June 13, 2026 at 3:10 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #68 thread – Saturday, June 13 at Minnesota Twins #309773Ever tried grilled corn on the cob on the grill and then soaked with butter?
I loved grilled corn on the cob. Also liked doing sliced potatoes with butter and garlic wrapped with foil. Especially if they get a little crispy. Lol
June 13, 2026 at 3:08 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #68 thread – Saturday, June 13 at Minnesota Twins #309769What pisses me off is I tried to bet a Blaze Jordan homerun and they didn’t have it as a prop. So he homers and we take a 9-4 lead. It least we are now comfortably ahead. Lol
June 13, 2026 at 2:42 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #68 thread – Saturday, June 13 at Minnesota Twins #309756The fries naturally. I also added pickles and mustard to the chili cheeseburger. Mustard on bottom of course and take a couple pepperoncini as a side snack. Lol
June 13, 2026 at 2:36 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #68 thread – Saturday, June 13 at Minnesota Twins #309752One has a feeling Oli is losing faith in Matthew. Out after 70 pitches. He’s the worst starter on the staff currently.
Puts a lot of workload on the pen when the starters can’t get through 5 plus especially when we have the stretches with no days off. Maybe we shouldn’t have sent Dobbins down after all. Clearly we would need him at some point to do his multiple inning thing 2-3 times in the next 10 days
June 13, 2026 at 2:31 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #68 thread – Saturday, June 13 at Minnesota Twins #309750I would agree adding on is necessary after thr last 2 losses. Would make me more content.
My cheat meal is the Cozy Dog Drive In for a chili cheeseburger small combo with fries add vinegar with an unsweeted iced tea and a cozy dog.
Then I will venture on the town with my buddy to catch Spurs-Knicks and some world cup. Maybe some Cubs- Gigantes for some baseball.
June 12, 2026 at 11:49 am in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #67 thread – Friday, June 12 at Minnesota Twins #309609Not a favorable pitching match up on paper. Then again I said that about Peralta on Tuesday.
June 11, 2026 at 3:16 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #66 thread – Thursday, June 11 at New York Mets #309584Disappointing but you take 2-3 on the road and it takes some of the sting away. Next up Minnesota. Let’s take that one as well.

June 11, 2026 at 12:35 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #66 thread – Thursday, June 11 at New York Mets #309563We got a slugfest on our hands.
June 11, 2026 at 2:25 am in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #65 thread – Wednesday, June 10 at New York Mets #309519Good dominant win again. Let’s finish off the not so Amazin Mets.
We have Dobbins and they have Christian Scott going. My guess is we see the pens around the 6th. One thing to watch is if they give a spot start at 3rd to Torres. Gorman is down a dark hole at the plate. We should be very lefty dominant for our 12:15 game.
Yes, it was to honor the local Peoria tribe. But they shifted the focus to fire chief instead of Indian chief about 20 years ago. The ownership is local, so they can name the team as they choose.
There was a lot going on with Indian tribes back before they renamed the team. Some of might of had had to do with the closing of the burial pit at Dickson Mounds which had some ancestors of the Peoria tribe buried in it in the 1000-1200 AD about a decade or so earlier. I think the owners just didn’t want to have protests and decided to switch it up.
June 10, 2026 at 2:17 am in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #65 thread – Wednesday, June 10 at New York Mets #309421They played in Vegas. I believe they play the Rockies in Vegas this weekend as well.
Reds won 5-3.
June 9, 2026 at 8:09 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #64 thread – Tuesday, June 9 at New York Mets #309405I don’t want our prize trade chip extending himself too much. He was at 101 pitches. That’ll do for his evening.
You want to just do this on the fly. I know they did it with Herrera a few games last year and Memphis could do the same but he hasn’t been give a full season at 3rd in the minors.
The better plan is to put him at 3rd for most if not all and then give him some time in Florida training and the AFL. We clearly need something there next year. Assuming we have a season.
Read the same thing but it hasn’t been reported on the transaction page for the team. Until it is confirmed I take it as wishful thinking from a fan who hates Scott.
June 7, 2026 at 4:07 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #63 thread – Sunday, June 7 vs. Cincinnati Reds #309240Why did big brain Marmol take McGreevy out? He had been pitching very well the last couple of innings and I stepped away assuming with 82 pitches he has the 7th. But no bring in an RP who give up the tying run
Big brain Marmol is an all star coach appointed by a 3 times world series winning manager.
Dobbins 5 innings Friday helped this pitching staff this weekend. Left us with a fresh pen and with the off day tomorrow a nice refresh again.
Wa have what we have currently.I don’t think it’s changing with Dobbins as a long man and Fitts out until next season. These are our internal options. Matthews and Doyle appear to be in next years plan somehow next season.
External impact starter via trade isn’t happening. The consensus is even if we are above .500 at the deadline that they will be looking to replace Noot, May and Romero with young talent. You may get a near ready starter for one of them but I doubt you get 3 near ready plug and play starters to replace what we have. 2 would be a miracle.
June 6, 2026 at 4:43 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #62 thread – Saturday, June 6 vs. Cincinnati Reds #309143We can only control what we do. The Cubs are underachieving. They should beats those Gigantes though.
June 6, 2026 at 3:52 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2026 Game #62 thread – Saturday, June 6 vs. Cincinnati Reds #309133Noot!!!!!!
Brad jumping the gun a tad saying the team keeps finds ways to win. Not over yet bud!

I think you’re wrong on one thing. Liberatore is the definition of a modern day #5. Basically some junk balling lefty who can go 5 innings max. Lol
Thankfully Dobbins ate some inning last night for the full compliment of relievers we can use the rest of the weekend. It appears we’ll need all of them.
