Palm Beach eeked out a nailbiter today – 17-0. They outhit their opponent 20 to 1. I mentioned Yordalin Peña about a week ago as a guy I’m really interested to see this development group try to work with and he’s been pretty darn good since that shout-out. A couple homers again today.

ML outfielders love to hit the turf while making a catch……sometimes even if they don’t have to.

What’s that old kid’s song…..”Swanee River”. They should probably play that song when Svanson comes in out of the pen, but maybe call it “Svanee River”.

Burly with a bomb….literally. We’ve whalloped some good ones tonight, but Burly’s here takes top billing as far as distance goes.

Not a great outing for Svanson. Yes, zero hits, zero walks, and zero runs. But quite a bit of hard contact. Zero walks was good though.

We look like we could give the ’27 Yankees a run for the money.

The fact they are all dead helps our odds.

16 straight Mets retired ends with 2 strikes and 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th as Romero hits a guy in the foot. Hopefully this leads to zero tension.

That’s a win as we get the check swing on a 3-2 count on a ball at eye level. Quite the streak we are on. Let’s play 10 in a row against the pond scum and Reds if we can.

I think Bling was referring to the 2027 Yankees, as he’s always thinking ahead, Jnevel.

The kids have been playing first rate baseball and beginning to display a bit of a swagger. In my estimation, confidence never hurt anyone involved in any sort of competition. During this little W streak they’ve been getting nice performances from the rotation, the BP, and up and down the line-up. Confidence is nice to have, but when it’s coupled up with execution on the field, most everyone agrees that the numbers really begin to take off in the W column. In any case, it’s approaching the middle of June and I’m still having fun watching the youngsters have fun while playing winning baseball.

The Redbirds will get their second chance of the season to reach a high water mark of 10 games above .500 as Dobbins will take his second turn as a Cardinal. He did good in his last appearance when he didn’t allow an ER in 5 IP’ed vs. the Reds after he entered the game in the 5th to replace Leahy. He recorded the final out of that baseball game and was the winning pitcher of decision in a 10-3 final.

Everyone may be referring to the ’27 Dodgers before too long…

It’s 4-3 A’s over the Brewers as they start the 8th. Cubs lose, Reds lose, Pirates win. Looking to make hay and pick up ground.

The Brewers turn up snake eyes out in Vegas as they lose 4-3 to the A’s as the Cardinals draw to aces and pick up a full game in the NLC.

I had to look at this through bifocals but, believe it or not, the Cardinals are the only team in the entire Big Leagues to have never been below .500 this season. And it gets even better than that Redbird fans. The Cardinals are the single solitary team in all four of the major U.S. sports leagues to have never been below .500 in 2026. Them’s a pair that’ll beat a full house…

Good dominant win again. Let’s finish off the not so Amazin Mets.

We have Dobbins and they have Christian Scott going. My guess is we see the pens around the 6th. One thing to watch is if they give a spot start at 3rd to Torres. Gorman is down a dark hole at the plate. We should be very lefty dominant for our 12:15 game.
