I think above is the best course of action. Gorman continues to OPS under .700 in Septemeber I think that pretty much tells you what exactly you have. You release him and then if you want a look at Jordan you give him the roster spot and runway in September.
This is also assuming we end up falling back into a team amny thought it would be in a rebuilding year.
Even if for some reason this team is in the hunt for a WC by the deadline. I could see them dealing May and Noot assuming Noot stays on the field. They may get some near ready plug in play as a return.
Sucks we couldn’t at least have a chance to take another series. Got to grab on tomorrow. Don’t want to get swept by Tejas
I forgot this is May’s first start since flirting with a no no. Sometimes you have a bit of a hangover but he seems to be doing fine so far.
Gorman’s saving grace has been that his defense has been pretty good. With occasional power that shows up, that isn’t terrible. But I agree that he’s looked even worse lately.
So basically we have a left-handed Nado on our hands who’s a windmill.
I hope deGROM doesn’t put Walker back in a hitting funk.
He’s been in one the last 15 games or so. Walker been very average in that span and even worse the last 7 games.
Good because we miss a guy like Matz or even to an extent Leahy. He started a little rough last night but settled in as he progressed. He’s about the best we option we have in the minors.
I guess we find out Friday on who the sacrificial lamb is for Noots return.
Well his ERA was around 14 when he got off the DL. So he has been better. Lol
Hiwver it would be nice having a garbage time 3rd lefty like Shuster around.
