Close game but also good to see Brebia rebound. We may have stumbled upon something here. Edmund, Martinez, Goldschmidt then O’Niel. Speedy guy followed by 3 guys with power. If we could get some production team wide it may be the winning formula! Go Cardinals!

Couple of weeks on Ozuna. Read an article couple weeks ago contending Goldschmidts numbers this year pretty much mirror his last year so far. I guess he really turned it on in the second half last year. Hope it goes that way this year! Mikolas is a home boy, wins at home. 3 pirates have good numbers against him so he better know who they are. Evidently we are up against thier best pitcher tonight to open this series. Go Cardinals!
Would love to see some sin streaks with our current team. Really shouln’t be that hard to do. The Central must be more even than most people thought for us to still be in it. After all its baseball and nobody totally dominates. I really liked the ,2011 team. They were a bunch of scrappers. Overachievers if you like. Most nights someone, could be any of em, would step up and pull something off to win the game. With that team you never felt like they were out of it. If we get some of that magic things could get much better. Still think the talents there but we gotta improve on where we left off last year, Go Cardinals!
I think Carp is from Texas and played college ball at TCU. Got to be disapointing to be so streaky. Just wonder if hes seeing the ball right now. When hes on he follows the ball all the way in. Someone here mentioned the Rangers have some left handed hitters available? I’m fine with his defensive play, he is a baller but right now we gotta get the offense going.Need some new salsa! Good to see that Minuteman has a sarcastic sense if humor also, It helps me alot! A lot of angst over last nights home opener. Seems like we play better on the road lately. Looks like when the team gets home they lose thier focus Too much going on back at the house? Must be nice to be making all that money! Until you aren’t. So looking for great things this year from some well paid but somewhat past prime veterans mixed with young, up coming talent. Only 4 hits last night. Giving up 3 runs in late innings won’t do it without lights out pitching which we ain’t got. Still looking to finish out strong, get focused tonight but up against RHP again (can’t find some lefties?) Go Cardinals!
