Don’t know about King Jnevel. Seen him give up 1 run every inning hes pitched lately. Been watching San Diego trying to give us this game the last 3 innings. The bottom half if our order- the AAA guys have been absolutely killing ys. Totally inept at the plate. Hard to watch. Winn and Siani have no idea how to bunt. Its really embarassing. Really have my doubts about what they’re teaching these guys. Looks like we have some major organizational issues.Need to clwan house all the way through. Goldy and Palacios about the only 2 doing anything tonight.

That ended badly. Might as well let the prospects close. Somebody needs to work with Winn on getting the ball out of the infield.Hes hitting it just not getting under it.

Looked it all over today. Phillie looks like a shoe in. 2 nd wildcard is the big race this year. Cuba,Cincy, Miami and Diamondbacks are the contenders. All fairly close to each other. We’re looking like spring training again tonight but thats ok with me. Would love to see Walker have a good night tonight!

We’ve been winning the last game of the series lately. Maybe we can do it again today. I see Goldys sitting today. Went 0fer yesterday. Seems like when any of our guys are out any legnth of time it takes em 2 weeks to be able to hit a ball again.

Its a Winner! Bull pen held the lead pretty good. Nice looking stats for all our pitching. I was watching on gameday and that ump was calling high strikes on us too. As long as it goes both ways I’m ok with it. Go Cardinals!

Tie game. Thompson just gave up a run throwing a meatball. 2nd one hes thrown so far. We’ve had base runners every inning so far but only 1 rbi. Not getting the ribbie!

Goldy should be 3 in my estimation. Hes probably 2 by sabermetrics. I would wager the players are entered in a Unuvac 3000 computer abd it spits out the lineup. Since our season us undone I suggest going to the lottery method. Put the names in a hat and throw it up in the air. Pick em up blindfolded and you got your lineup! Seriously I would start my lineup with 2 guys in a row who can get consecutive hits. A major accomplishment this year.

Why ask why ? Bud dry! Jenevel has a point about half a lineup. Pretty much been that way all year combined with the awful pitching. Offense numbers for all our superstars are way down this year. A couple of my thoughts though on offense in general. We are the kings of the solo homers. Can’t bunt, can’t sac and can’t run the bases. Makes me wonder if they learn basic skills in the lower ranks. After the first 5 batters we are done
Philly swept us because they field complete ML lineups. Schwarber batted lead off because their 7-8-9 guys are good enough to be consistently on base. Looks like we have a ways to go. But painful as its been it is past time to get some younger guys in there. I hope they make the most of the rest of this season.Go Cardinals!

Gotta agree 1TD. The sac bunt would be an extremely effective weapon. Edman is about our only player really good at it though. The Cubs are good at it too and wisely use it alot. Another skill they should already have at the major league level.

Read some stuff showing Mikolas stats steadily dropping. Esp his velocity. Maybe excuses but some say hes tiring out.

Got a winner tonight! Goldy woke up. Contreas 2 dingers. Gorman even got an rbi but 3 ks. Need to move Contreas up to 4 while hes hot. Just don’t know bout Nado now. He seems like dinger or nothing? Won in extra inning! Pitching held up. Personally I still want to win these games. Go Cardinals!

You know 1TD if those oven mitts are getting so much TV time on replays they should start renting out advertising space on ’em!

Runners on 2nd and 3rd in 4th with 1 out. Can’t get one in. 2 strike outs in a row. Not a good look for the home team fans.

Actually you may be right Bling. Probably could just bunt the guy over. Can he play 1b?? Not much been happening at the plate there. Personally don’t see Waino getting 2 more wins.Show me I’m wrong!

Well the upside we got 2 hits! The down side we only got 2 hits! Lost by only 3 and not 13 ! All that money batting at the plate the 9th inning with a free runner by walk. And we couldn’t even get one in? Against the big bird Kimbrel? Man I would be ashamed. Give Mo some of his money back. We were totally outclassed this weekend. Oh well we will win one again soon.

Before replay Bling and even now the first base ump watches the bag for the runners foot and listens for the ball to hit the glove. Anythingelse is BS.

Whoever said that about the “area of the glove” is a huge BS’er. I hate listening to the home broadcasters on some of our away games. Last night I turned the sound off. Went on about 30 minutes about how great Harper is-blah blah blah!
    Yes they have climate control.
