Fun game for us last night! Mikolas had a really good outing last time he pitched, away game too! Just keep imagining you’re pitching at home. St Louis really isn’t that far away! We’ve roughed up Musgrove before, maybe we can do it again. Just remember gotta keep it focused today and keep it tight. They definitely are not going to give it to you! As far as injured players returning right now , things are clicking, I wouldn’t change a whole lot right now and see how it goes, Go Cardinals. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it?
Great win for us but gotta remember we were not playing against top tier pitching. Lots of hits, 3hr game, Yowza! So much easier when we got some cushion, Go Cardinals!

I like your keeping an eye on Angel Randon. Sounds like hes got a whole lot of talent. Moving him quickly to progress sounds like someonelse also has thier eye on him too. Have always thought that the Cardinals minor league system has always been our stregnth. Theres alot of exCardinals in MLB on all the teams.Hope to see Angel out there soon. Go Cardinals!
Just caught the highlights, good well played game by us! They never scored again after the first inning. Good pitching and very smooth defense. Good steady contact hitting by us! Go Cardinals!
Checked out his minors numbers awhile back before he made the big shiw. He was an of really with good BA and power. Got bounced around alot, one injury which put him out for awhile. Hes big, got power and somewhat of a free swinger. He was getting old for minors and finally got his chance when we desparetly needed some power. He does not run fast which needs improvement. Not an impossible task and may do better to lose some weight. As he showed last night he is a ballplayer, made that throw and not drop that last fly out
Hey Ratsbuddy. I liked that he hung in there to close it out. I wouldn’t have left him in there either the way things went but the pen is wore out. Not getting enough innings from our starters. Carlos seems be the best we have fir a closer right now. Don’t know if you have seen the post about how many consecutive games hes pitched in.We have way too many 1 run games. When the cupboard is bare you gotta go with what you got, Go Cardinals!
Crazy game last night! Good to see Goldschmidt,Martinez and Carlos shine. Good team play almost everybody got a hit! Looks to me like we have a real good chance tonight. Hudson has a not good Ks to Walks ratio. Unless hes a double play expert he will need to keep that diwn. Those free bases are real killers. Go Cardinals!
Crazy game last night.Nice to see Goldschmidt get his groove back. Martinez shine on his defense and Carlos hang in there to win it! 8 hits ain’t bad almost everybody got one. The accumulation of all those things, a little by everybody and we get the win! Sound familiar? Just barely but we made it. Go Cardinals!

I like your thinking Rats Buddy. I looked yesterday and at the end of next week the Brew Crew and Cubbies start playing each other for 2 consecutive series.One or the others gonna lose. If we’re winning then we will be picking up games. With some good momentum we can really get some breathing room. Congrats to Cardinals for a good series and good pitching.Go Cardinals!

Well, looks like Mikolas is up against their ace tonight. If he just imagines he is pitching at home he should do ok. Castillo has been on a strike out tear, 10ks in 6 innings last game against the Cubs. Best way to approach that is usually to wear him down. Lots of full counts, foul balls take your time. Looks like their relief is their weakness so we gotta turn it on in the late innings today. Go Cardinals!
