April 25, 2026 at 11:44 am #305797This looks to be the standard lineup. I’ve seen enough of the bench guys, Saggese, Fermin, Urias and Pozo. But there is no use bringing up guys to be new bench guys. I also wouldn’t want to see guys come up and get worked in via a never ending lineup chinese fire drill. So I guess unless they want to replace one of those lineup regulars, they should do nothing.
April 25, 2026 at 1:09 pm #305800This is the best we can offer up right now, so let’s sit back and enjoy what we have and perhaps we can do something about those .200 averages.
April 25, 2026 at 1:14 pm #305802And Saturday din-din was a very ordinary but delicious steak, french fries and salad, topped off with some fresh strawberries.
Rah CardinalsApril 25, 2026 at 1:36 pm #305805Both starters with higher OBP than SLG coming into the game went deep in the first – JJ and Herrera. Tied 2-2 after one.
April 25, 2026 at 1:47 pm #305808Chip’s call on Church’s HR was “Hot Diggety Dog!” Cards are down 4-3 in the second.
April 25, 2026 at 1:58 pm #305810There is nothing like tough love to straighten guys out.
April 25, 2026 at 2:13 pm #305811Balls are leaving Busch at a historic rate so far today. Woo is getting woo-zy…
April 25, 2026 at 2:13 pm #305812Damn this is fun!
April 25, 2026 at 2:20 pm #305813Didn’t see this coming! 7 runs on 4 homeruns against Woo. Baseball is a unpredictable game sometimes.
April 25, 2026 at 2:20 pm #305814Libby couldn’t possibly blow this one.
April 25, 2026 at 2:24 pm #305815Can’t because they pulled him after 3.1 IP.
April 25, 2026 at 2:27 pm #305816No starting pitching to be found in Busch today, lol.
Bling – Fermin has been decent.
April 25, 2026 at 3:06 pm #305819Hey! What happened to our 7-4 lead?
April 25, 2026 at 3:09 pm #305820Fermin has been decent.
Agreed, especially compared to the other bench guys.
April 25, 2026 at 3:29 pm #305821Give that Churchman a cigar!
April 25, 2026 at 3:40 pm #305822With Pages leaving, I wonder if this is a moment to call up Crook?
I’d like to see Saggese swapped with Prieto. I think Saggese is better than this and could use some regular ABs. And Prieto could rest some guys in this 17 straight game stretch.
Dinner’s going to be a chicken breast, rice with dill and parm, and a salad, with a couple discount chocolate covered marshallow Easter eggs, bought in my annual day after Easter candy shopping.
April 25, 2026 at 3:44 pm #305823Ooof. Gonna see Svanson if this goes to the 10th. And McGreevy better go the distance tomorrow.
April 25, 2026 at 3:47 pm #305824What a track meet.
Losing this one could be the begining of a downward spiral.
April 25, 2026 at 3:50 pm #305825With this many pitches in the 8th, could be Svanson in the 9th.
April 25, 2026 at 3:55 pm #305826JoJo had a few days off after a rough one and now got roughed up again. Hope all is well.
April 25, 2026 at 3:56 pm #305827Anyone have a live arm and live near St Louis? O’Brien makes 7 pitchers we’ve used.
April 25, 2026 at 3:59 pm #305828I like swapping Prieto for Saggesse. Give Saggesse playing time. Put Prieto in at 2nd, shortstop, dh and third. Dh the regulars with these moves.
