Sure hope it happens soon Mud. I like winning as much as the next guy, but that passion for the game is what I miss most.
My attitude about Atenado is the same as my attitude about Mo was. There’s no good reason for him to be here anymore. Whatever it takes be gone!
I don’t really like either of these deals. Cfanin Chi has the idea. Package Donnie with Jojo and a c prospect for a high ceiling prospect. These guys they’re talking about are all flawed from the jump. It should be better than what we got for Gray, and it doesn’t feel that way.

Me too. Especially important when you always have guys on the field that play poor defense. The ball finds those guys.
There’s rumors around about trading JoJo. Of course there’s rumors about a lot of guys. At least the Gray move makes some of it believable.
Lots of different opinions. I will say Marmol is the clear beneficiary of whatever grand plan Bloom has. I thought it was simply inconvenient to bring in another new manager and staff at this time. Now they talk extension.

It’s completely different. It’s not Keeping Marmol thru the duration of his contract. It’s news. They’re talking of extending him. MLB trade rumors broke the story. And frankly I don’t see a lot of other threads clogging up the board. I’ve probably started no more than half a dozen threads total since I’ve been posting here. And you stalk and snark each one.

They got Bostons #5 prospect with years of control for a guy with negative trade value. Plus we should get some innings out of Fitts. And plenty of off color jokes. It’s a good trade.

What I’ve read is it was high stakes poker games being rigged. The players were luring heeled clients to underground games. All hosted by connected mob types. I’m sure we haven’t heard the end.
