2 runs on 9 hits doesn’t sound too good. Just about everybody hit though. One guy didn’t and hasn’t in quite awhile. Gotta wonder how long they will carry a player like that? More hits from the rookie than anybodyelse. I agree we can play better and I think we will! Relief pitching was very good again. Still needing better offense but it is getting better. Go Cardinals!
Seventeen lob would really make me crazy. Somebodys not gettin’ the rbi. We always called that “choking”. At the plate. Guess they need my sports vusualization technique. You mentally visualize yourself succeeding and then you do it! So I am glad they pulled Hudson before it was completely hopeless. Seems like our starters have a 5 inning brick wall. Thats ok we gotta win the ones we can. Winning the division would be a good goal. Hang in there, Go Cardinals!
Yes gscotar you are right. Turns out we ended up playing some really good teams. Like playing in our division better. Think we have a good chance of making the post season this year myself
Just don’t know if Munoz is tall enough to be consistent at of. That spectacular try to rob that rbi off the wall probably would have been snagged by Dexter. Hes a great utility man though. I like JMart in there for his power. He really could knock one out at anytime. Ditto on the RH’s.
Got to say we should have a really good chance to take this one. Miley is LHP and doesn’t win many on the road. Was just thinking we had 2 men on with 2 outs three times last night and never got the rbi! That means that situation is below .300. Wish we could change that! We would have been in the game. Another thought how does our pitcherlose the strike zone and not get pulled before walking the bases loaded. If we are playing to win our division I don’t think a mound visit is gonna do it. Letting him play through it don’t work when you are playing from behind. See some hitting today-rbi’s really. Go Cardinals!
Glad our game is over, 2 runs on 7 hits. That grand slam really hurt. If you can’t beat em, cleat em! Really does look like we need a real starter to continue competitive. Didn’t see the first inning ir DeLeons 3 walks. Those walks can really come back to bite you. Sometimes defense does fall apart but would rather have it early to catch back up. Gotta remember we are playing one of the best teams, top pitcher. Actually I’m quite proud of our Cardinals

Right now DeLeon is our ace, has a 2.82 era! Only one game though. Cole is a good pitcher. Maybe we can wear him out with pitch count and finish up strong enough to beat ’em tonight! Gonna need some offense tonight! We need to kidnap Tony LaRussa and hide him in the broom closet until he agrees to come back and work for the club. Teams lookin’ good. Go Cardinals!

Personally on Ozuna I would leave the team alone right now.If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Doesn’t mean they can’t be available if needed.If we make the playoffs its all gonna change anyway. Well glad its Rainbow night in St Louis. Not really could care less. You know that the Hawaii football team symbol is rainbows too. Maybe Wong saw the rainbows and thought they were all with him? I’d want the Jersey anyway. So lookin at the game our competition has a high ERA
