I agree that a guy who can’t play defense any more is headed to the AL to be a DH.

Wade Miley is a lefty starter free agent to be. Any interest?

Martinez gave up two HRs the other day and Schilt for brains insists on using him in the 9th with a one run lead? My 75 year old mother-in-law from the old country could manage better than him. People think he’s in the running for post-season honors? On the contrary, his job should be in jeopardy.

    Re: braves homer announcers

You do know who Ernie Johnson’s father was?

Johnson was a longtime color commentator and play-by-play broadcaster on Braves radio and television, working from 1962 to 1999.

I’m a little late to the conversation due to watching hockey after the Cards win…

Am I hallucinating or did Shildt let Carlos Martinez bat for himself with the bases loaded?

Bader’s defense in center is too important to not use him there.

In the small MLB sample size, Randy is hitting .300 with a slugging % of .500 and OPS of .891

And he has a cool name. Arozarena… as far as I can tell he’s the first one in MLB history with that name.

Best to be worked out starting in Florida in the spring… not in Atlanta in October.

Actually, I had seen Junior’s RA per 9 which is 4.32 in MiLB.

His overall record in MiLB is an uninspiring 20-19.

We’ll see what he does in the spring in Florida.

Junior’s career ERA in minor league ball is around 4.22 if I recall correctly. That is not impressive.

Is this one of the forum’s where blind loyalty is expected and legit criticism of players, Shildt, Mozeliak, etc is not allowed? Real fans can express valid criticisms and not have it considered “ragging.”

The old basketball ABA called. They said they would trade a washing machine for Junior Fernandez.

I say pull the trigger on that one as fast as possible.

Genesis has some potential. Fernandez should either go back to Single-A or become a bat boy.

And Shildt for Brains played him until Arizona batted around with a division title on the line.
