Forsch-woulda coulda shoulda…don`t count for crap.Pham is average…nothing special. The WAR for this season is what 1.0 ?As for his defense how many crappy jumps on balls has he gotten this year?Your Phamblinders are showing. Not getting a real chance! Bullcrap.Phamfoolery at its best.Average player who vastly overperformed last season who the league has caught up to.

Trout hasnt run his mouth about being mistreated or held back.Trout has and is a Superstar player who can do everything .Trout has been a star from his 1st year in the MAJORS.Trout didnt play in the minors for 10 years.Trout didn`t refuse to man up about screwing up.You say small sample size…well he has just about as many chances as the other Cards regulars in RISP and he ranks 6th .Ahead of Carpenter Wong and Fowler.

I was under the impression that Leone had more serious possible nerve issues. As for believing everything the FO?MO say concerning injuries and returns i am a bit skeptical.

Bullpen wise Norris has been a lifesaver.Hicks has been the surprise of the season .Mayers has actually pitched fairly reliable.Brebbia did okay last season and has done well this season.Gomber has shown up well several times.Tuivialala has been both good and bad.Cecil might be coming to life along with Holland.I wonder if Leone will even pitch again this year.Same with Bowman.Gregerson is still probably at least 6 weeks away and Lyons is ?.This is a potentially good bullpen.I think getting another solid reliable arm from AAA would be even better .

Losing sucks.I suspect Gant or Poncedeleon will be called up if Wacha goes DL.If JMart is injured who rides the Memphis shuttle? O`Neill or Mercado or?
2 good appearences by Holland and Cecil showed something today.Tuivailala gets burned. The guy has good stuff but he doesn`t seem to be able to harness it.Big lack of clutch hitting by arpenter and Pham today.I guess we will see what happens next.

Jager-there you go accusing me of hatred for Pham.hatred is too strong a word to describe my dislike for him.I simpl dont like his actions towards the team and his refusal to man up for his mistakes and his poor pitiful "i was screwed over routine' doesnt fly with me.i never said i hated him..i simply cant stand him.I feel he was a flash in the pan last year and is nothing more than a average player at best.If that is so offensive to you and upsets your view then we simply agree to disagree.I have been a fan for over 50 years and i root for the Cards everyday. There have been some jackleg players who i detested wearing the Cards uniform but i always rooted for the team.Pham is one of those player i cant stand. That is the way it is.

Agree about Kelly. He needs to play more than once a week to be effective i would think. In a perfect world Molina would start 100-110 games and Kelly 50 or so.That keeps Molina fresh and gets Kelly semi-regular playing time to develop.Likely won`t happen because MM lets Molina dictate his playing time.A peak Molina for 100-110 games is better than a tired beaten up worn down Molina trying to catch 140-150 games.

Bowman has been serviceable for 2 full seasons and he is still young.Too early to give up on him .As for Holland-i said signing him was a mistake and sadly that has proven right

I wonder about Garcia starting. He is so valuable coming off the bench as our best bench bat you would lose that opion staring him.The bench would be damn near useless then.A trade off on hoping GGarcia starting can produce enough to not need a bench bat.Damned if you do and damned if you don`t.This team really needs DeJong back.Plugging DeJong in at SS then allows Munoz to move to 2B and Gyorko can stay at 3B.Carp/JMart 1B.Munoz struck out in 12 of his first 18 ABs so he has really cut his K rate.He is proving to be a very good player and i think Schrock will prove to be a solid backup/spot starter because he is a good contact guy to fill a role maybe he gets a shot in September if he gets added to 40-man.

Jager-i see a soft hitting streak.Thats my opinion. You say i am bias because i dislike the player and feel his contribution is overrated.Thats your opinion.I disagree. So be it.I have stated my reasons why i dislike Pham.My opinion. My choice. You want to go sing "kumbaya' then thats your choice. Not mine.I tried to be decent and explain myself. Not going to bother trying to do that anymore.

Bicylemike-this is true. But do we have any great players? i dont think so.We have some good ones and some that can be really good.I think our resident boatrocker isnt good enough to continue his behavior.

Jager- i try and be as optimistic as possible. As a matter of fact i get ripped on the STL today board for being a “apologist and Homer” for the FO and management.I get disgusted by the half-ass play and stupid mistakes by all the players.I have been following the Cards since the early 60`s and have gotten much enjoyment and cheer from the team.I have seen the game change and sometimes i wonder if its better or worse overall. One fact is standing out more and more In my opinion…….Baseball powers that be want more exciting games(more Homeruns, more scoring, etc) to appeal to a wider fanbase.Right now most people think of baseball as a slow boring game watched by old men and statweenies.Homeruns bring the fans in and watching and hoping for your team to hit the game-winning Homerun is worth waiting for and looking past the rising strikeout totals.Baseball purists are surely disgusted by this but it is what it is now.Owners want the tickets to sell and Homeruns help do that .Sorry but igot off course there for a minute.
I do appreciate yor opinions and although i dont always agree i do read them.I have had many various opinions of players who wore the Cards uniform over the years..some good, some bad, some i really disliked and some i hated to see get traded or leave in Free agency. My favorites players were Stan The Man,Bob Gibson ,Ken Boyer and Simba. I hated seeing Gibby struggle thru his last couple of years and Ken Boyer get traded to the damn Mets for Charley Smith.Whitey trading Simba ticked me off.THe WS title was great in 82 but i think it could have happened with Simba catching instead of Porter. There have been some guys i hated to see in the uniform......Bob Horner....product of the launching pad,Sixto Lezcano-overrated and one of Whiteys mistakes. The Catcher from the Athletics who gave the finger to the fans Mike Heath ?)Tommy Pham..He lost me when he publicly showed his ass by ripping the same organization that stood with him for 10 years thru all the injuries and continued to give him a chance. He lost me even more when e refuses ti acceopt the blame for his baserunning blunders.I don`t care for that kind of nonsense. So anyway i hope no hard feelings are taken.I admit i do get hot under the collar sometimes.

Jager-dont even try and tell me what and how to watch and like baseball.I have been watching baseball probably before you where in diapers.I am damn disappointed at seeing a comeback wasted but i am more disgusted by the continued failure of clutch hitting.Your boy Pham has a RISP for the year of .232.....not exactly a worldbeater.or all the hype by Phammites he is just a ordinary guy who played way over his head last season and is getting bit by reality this season. The sooner he is gone the better IMHO.If you dislike my opinion thats your perogative. But don`t try and tell ever try to tell me what to do.

It was a stupid trade then and 42 years later it still stinks.Ferguson was a bust fopr the Cards. You know what i remember most about him is hearing how he liked to go in the runway to clubhouse and smole cigarettes during the games.

So his HR is supposed to make up for the 3 Ks ?Especially the clutch K that if he had just made contact the Cards could have tied or taken the lead.Phammites making excuses.
