KeepComingBackParticipantWould you guys back the dump truck full of money to Skubal’s house in 2 years if he does reach FA. He would be 30 years old when he reaches FA
Who wouldn’t want him? But I doubt they would spend to that level AND extend the contracts of Donovan Winn Herrera Lib etc. Like the etc. Standing on second. The lost draft choice is also a thing.

KeepComingBackParticipantI loved that stroke by Herrera. Perfectly executed. I call a task completed that precisely a process. Man, there’s no luck in that.

KeepComingBackParticipantI got a ball in 1967. You notice I said got. There were not a lot of fans that final year in KC and my recollection is there was very little competition for it as it rolled down the isle. I was 10. We were lower middle class and it had no real nostalgic value. We used it.
On another note, I’m still waiting for Herrera to cool off. This reminds me of a few other epic seasons I’ve followed closely. I decline to name them.May 19, 2025 at 7:53 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2025 Game #48 thread – Monday, May 19 vs. Detroit Tigers #282729

KeepComingBackParticipantAll of a sudden need to get bats going. 1 run in 3 of last 4 games and tater providing that run in 2 of them. Have to put guys (Arenado) in right positions in the lineup.

May 18, 2025 at 1:58 pm in reply to: St. Louis 2025 Game #47 thread – Sunday, May 18 at Kansas City Royals #282565
KeepComingBackParticipantApparently nobody’s going to trade for Arenado. Why not go ahead and bat him where he belongs in the lineup?

KeepComingBackParticipantIt has to be said-it was a large strike zone tonight. But it was large for both sides and I didn’t see a lot of complaining. I don’t listen-was there any mention by the announcers?
