We can let Scott face lefties non-stop but Vilade must play if Gorman is facing one.

The Redbird manager counters with Manny…

That was the epitome of a mismatch.

That Vilade at bat has to be one of the worst at bats I’ve seen this season. If they were going to pinch hit there, why not Pozo? I understand not letting Gorman hit against a lefty with huge strikeout numbers. But Vilade? Vilade already has looked overmatched by average MLB pitchers. I disagree with Ollie’s thought process on that one.

I’m still trying to determine why he’s in the dugout.

The funny part is that Gorman is a career 91 ops+ vs lefties in 240 PA’s. I wonder when the last time was Vilade anchored an mlb lineup from the 3spot? For months? O well, lol!

There’s many reasons to stagger a lineup. Maybe next season.

Herrera heating back up would be awesome.

Herrera with a rocket of a HR to take the lead back. Rats needs to keep saying this guy can’t hit as that seems to be the catalyst for offense

I’m not too sure if any of these Blue Jays hitters have seen Helsley.

Escaped with a tie game, but Helsley obviously ain’t right. It sometimes looks like he’s lost command of his entire assortment.
