jj-cf-stlParticipantWe can let Scott face lefties non-stop but Vilade must play if Gorman is facing one.
June 9, 2025 at 8:38 pm #284496The Redbird manager counters with Manny…
June 9, 2025 at 8:39 pm #284497I feel like turning it off.
June 9, 2025 at 8:39 pm #284498That was the epitome of a mismatch.
June 9, 2025 at 8:46 pm #284500That Vilade at bat has to be one of the worst at bats I’ve seen this season. If they were going to pinch hit there, why not Pozo? I understand not letting Gorman hit against a lefty with huge strikeout numbers. But Vilade? Vilade already has looked overmatched by average MLB pitchers. I disagree with Ollie’s thought process on that one.
June 9, 2025 at 8:48 pm #284501I’m still trying to determine why he’s in the dugout.
June 9, 2025 at 8:50 pm #284502Need a couple to reach.
June 9, 2025 at 8:51 pm #284503
jj-cf-stlParticipantThe funny part is that Gorman is a career 91 ops+ vs lefties in 240 PA’s. I wonder when the last time was Vilade anchored an mlb lineup from the 3spot? For months? O well, lol!
June 9, 2025 at 8:51 pm #284504Nice AB from Vic. Need the same from the Nootz.
June 9, 2025 at 8:56 pm #284505Winn gives us a chance.
June 9, 2025 at 8:58 pm #284506
jj-cf-stlParticipantThere’s many reasons to stagger a lineup. Maybe next season.
June 9, 2025 at 8:59 pm #284507Up on the board we go.
June 9, 2025 at 9:00 pm #284508Three run TATER for the lead!
June 9, 2025 at 9:00 pm #284509
jj-cf-stlParticipantHerrera heating back up would be awesome.
June 9, 2025 at 9:01 pm #284510Herrera with a rocket of a HR to take the lead back. Rats needs to keep saying this guy can’t hit as that seems to be the catalyst for offense
June 9, 2025 at 9:01 pm #284511
jj-cf-stlParticipantMaalox again, buckle up!
June 9, 2025 at 9:03 pm #284512How’s about a quick 1-2-3?
June 9, 2025 at 9:04 pm #284513I’m not too sure if any of these Blue Jays hitters have seen Helsley.
June 9, 2025 at 9:06 pm #284514My goodness…he runs it full.
June 9, 2025 at 9:09 pm #284515Boy Helsley has been horrible to watch many games this year
June 9, 2025 at 9:09 pm #284516
jj-cf-stlParticipantHow bout them apples?
June 9, 2025 at 9:09 pm #284517He placed that 2-1 smack dab in the wheelhouse.
June 9, 2025 at 9:10 pm #284518
jj-cf-stlParticipantWe look forward to Vilade winning it for us.
June 9, 2025 at 9:12 pm #284519Haha…Let’s get out of this inning tied up and let Manny work his magic!
June 9, 2025 at 9:17 pm #284520Escaped with a tie game, but Helsley obviously ain’t right. It sometimes looks like he’s lost command of his entire assortment.
