This team has so many great young options that I am really looking forward to the start of the season.

    BTW, bye bye Dexter.

Let the ST games begin so that the cards can make critical decisions.

I look forward to Edman being the real deal, and how do they get him a lot of playing time.

I get so much more information from the people on here than I get from the Cardinals’ sources, and the PD.

    Many thanks.

Money grabbing changes that make even more likely that the best teams will not meet in the World Series.
Imagine having the best record by far in your league, and you get eliminated in the flukey playoff games.

I’d also say that it’s a subtle exhibit that we’re very thin of quality outfielders at 2019 AA level and below.

    How so?????????

Why bring a bunch more OFs to camp who aren’t going to play? The numerous 40-man outfielders need at-bats to sort out who is going to play where in the regular season. I am good with the decision, though I wouldn’t have been surprised if Justin Toerner and/or Conner Capel had been invited.

    They are being showcased.

Lots of good young talent in ST.

Can’t wait to see who makes the big team.

Mo has made an interesting comment about that. Said getting players is a constant thing and that fans shouldn’t look at the beginning of ST as some sort of a deadline. Makes you think that something might indeed happen before opening day.
    Good stuff, thanks.

Now way they should go after Price. Enormous contract, and he suffered a wrist injury last year.
He is going downward, and will soon be 35.

    Here’s an idea…. don’t watch.[/em]
Do you pay attention to what your kids are watching.

NFL is a family network, sweet, yeah but……….
You should go to a porn network to get off your jollies.

There was also actual pole dancing. But when you get artists who are more sexually appealing than musically talented, what would anyone expect?

I don’t care what they do, but parents just have to know to keep their kids distracted during halftime. I go to a party every year that has tons of kids. They barely pay attention to the game at all, the ones that are young enough to worry about anyway.

But still, pole dancing and S&M innuendo? That seems a bit much.&lt. <[/em]

Well it was “family entertainment. Young girls surely did love it. LOL.

Many of us didn’t have a problem with the show. It’s not like they were naked.

Was it appropriate for viewers under 12 years old?

“Hey, Dad, why are they shaking their bodies like that?”
“Do they have a problem with their hips?”

Yeah, no kidding people. The WHOLE team strikes out too much. Surely they worked on that during the off-season instead of worrying about launch angles and stupid crap like that.

They are tenth in the NL in strikeouts.

Halftime show was awful as usual.

It was way over the top for young viewers.
